Thank you for the birthday wishes for Susan, and have a great time in Hawaii.  Still trying to talk our family into doing that for one of our Christmas/ New Tear holidays.   An easy sell for our son, but a tougher one for our daughter, because of the long flight.

Speaking of flights, my reading material for our trip to California tomorrow.

I thought "The Exchange" was kind of slow. And other than the same characters, it really doesn't have much to do with "The Firm". And it really doesn't have any of the twists and turns that the original had. I think I just had higher expectations. ☺️

Today is not a good day. My wife Maureen passed away this morning.

Oh Francis, Mike and I are so, so sorry to hear about Maureen. She was such a sweet lady when we met y’all. Our heart is breaking for you. 💔

Finally had the chance to take my mother in law out for mother's day today, our schedules ust weren't matching up until now.  Went to brunch on the intracoastal, 2 of the the Bloody Mary's ordered with a few little boats in the background. Almost didn't need our meals after these, not the best picture rushing to get to the goodies.  Yes, bacon, shrimp, pepperoni along with assorted cheese and veggies, yum.

Dani @dani negreanu.

Good evening Dani.

Pauline is currently reading this true story book and is crying.

She said it is heartbreaking how the Jews were treated during the second world war.

We have been to Auschwitz and Berkenau and seen ourselves and told a lot from an excellent guide.

I am so sorry, please accept my condolences. Whether it was sudden or expected, it is always too soon and too difficult.  My prayers go out to you and all your loved ones & to all that knew her.

+1 @mo&fran 🙏🏼😢

Beautiful day in Pittsburgh.  Got the grass cut then spent some time on our patio doing some bird watching today.  Lots of different visitors including 2 hummingbirds that I was way too slow to get a picture of.

I don’t know what kinds of birds some of these are.  Time to get my bird book out i guess.  I’m sure there is “an app for that” too I can look for.  Here’s some of what I saw from my home aviary 😂

You have a lovely variety of birds.  A good variety of non feathered friends too.

@SteelCityCruiser10 If you want to identify something in a picture  and are using a Samsung device with OS UI 6.1 or greater just press and hold the center button at the bottom of your screen (the one that brings you to your home screen), then draw a circle around what you want to identify. Soon you will have the answer.

If you are not a Samsung user then just ignore this entire post.🤷‍♂️

You can identify things on the dark side too.  Go into pictures and there is a lower case i under the picture in a circle.  If they were able to identify the bird in the picture, there is a symbol on the i. Just click on the i and it will tell you what they think it is.  It works really well for plants.  There will be a leaf on the i if it can id the plant.

Looks like this.

Works really well.  It confirmed what I thought but wasn’t totally sure on for a few of them.  I must have missed that addition in one of the updates I guess.

I am not sure how long it has been there but we use it a lot to ID plants.  It gets them right most of the time.  I have a hanging plant that has three different flowers in it and I was trying to figure out what they were, I missed the sticker telling me 😇.  I thought it was verbena but it thought it was something else but when I took a better picture of a more mature flower, it got it right.

I use my phone to identify plants too. It works really well.
