Rare Momof3gurlz Posted Thursday at 05:27 PM #128880 Share Posted Thursday at 05:27 PM We’re having a wonderful, relaxing time here in beautiful Hawaii. I made my first time zone mistake Sunday. Decided to rent a pool cabana for the day so Andy could watch some NFL games on the TV inside. I was thinking he’d like to watch the Patriots opener, but neglected to calculate the time difference so by the time we were set up in the cabana, the Pats 1:00 game was nearly over! Oh, well. We have mostly been enjoying the pool and beach here at the resort. Tuesday we drove up to the North Shore for the day with the obligatory stop at the Dole Plantation then a luau for dinner. Today we’re heading to the east side of the island to a couple of beaches and lookout points. IMG_2230.mov Mai Tai last night, topped with Lilikoi foam. This has been the best one so far. 30

I completely agree...especially when it feels like you can reach out and touch the bridge. Here's our cruise under Lions Gate Bridge in Vancouver. The Captain said that we cleared by "a couple of meters". Anyone else have "under the bridge" videos that they can share? IMG_9470.MP4 7

As much as I love a good Mai Tai, I'm also a sucker for Hawaiian Shave Ice (with the ice cream of course in the bottom). Have you had a chance to partake yet?

When we were in Maui in 2015 we had the Hawaiian Shave Ice with the ice cream. As they were making it I wasn't sure I would like it but it was fantastic. Since 2015 I have been looking for it in other places and this past April I found a place in Cocoa Beach, Fl that makes it, I can't wait till we go back next April to have it again.
