MS3 is arriving Malta later today with MS5 about 3 days behind. Edited August 18, 2020 by Biker19

The 650 passenger figure mentioned in the article doesn't sound right - maybe they meant 650 embarked in Genoa, but the total should have been a lot more than that. All the passengers who embarked at the other ports should still be on board.

Norway off-limits AIDA said the conditions are currently not suitable in Germany's neighboring countries, especially in the north with Norway and Denmark or the Baltic states. For many destinations outside Europe, Germany has travel warnings or the respective countries are blocking cruises until 2021. 'Even though it is currently not possible for cruise ships to call at Norway, which is so important for our voyages to the north, we are confident that the first AIDA ships from Germany will be able to travel to Northern Europe again at the beginning of 2021,' AIDA President Felix Eichhorn said. Biker19 Posted August 30, 2020 #173 Share Posted August 30, 2020 (edited) ^ it will be interesting to see if Tui keeps going with its cruises to nowhere out of Hamburg and Keil. Looks like Mein Schiff 6 will finally start her way to Greece (she's in Bremerhaven) for the still on the books 9/13 sailing from Crete Biker, who wonders if the numbers on those northern sailings are still at "capacity". Rare steamboats Posted August 30, 2020 #174 Share Posted August 30, 2020 Biker, TUI Cruises has full charter flights only and no individual shore tours for the Greece cruises. By September a pre cruise Covid-19 test is mandatory as well (they have a coop with a hospital chain operating 86 locations all over Germany and pay for the test). While Costa now is doing the quick tests prior to boarding (like MSC, same antigen tests), AIDA never talked about testing. Now they want to start out with the regular planned itineraries... steamboats
