Channel 7 had advertised this here (in WA) to be shown last night on the news. I had to go to work so couldn't watch it and was going to look for it today online. Interesting viewing! Biker19 Posted October 25, 2020 #139 Share Posted October 25, 2020 (edited) The progress seems to be on the ship west (left) of Sovereign. Sorry, don't see a translation from Turkish. Edited October 25, 2020 by Biker19
Biker19 Posted October 29, 2020 #140 Share Posted October 29, 2020 There are a number of ships waiting to get on the beach, like the last of current Pullmantur ships (Horizon) a couple of Marella ships, and others.....

CogitoErgoZoom Posted November 1, 2020 #149 Share Posted November 1, 2020 Thanks to everyone who posted links to pics/videos! I just found out about this industry and now I can't get enough of watching this stuff! I realize it's dangerous for the exploited poor who do the work for the unscrupulous yard owners who don't seem to care about their workers or the environmental damage, but wow I watch in awe as they tear apart those tired old beasts! I always loved watching the videos and time-lapses of assembly, now I'm scour the internet for the opposite side that I never really thought about until now! Really cool stuff!!
