This is correct, it was quite new when we were there. If I was to pan to the right about 30 degrees from that shot you would see the beach and the English Channel.

I like answers got the correct answer first. I really is an interesting place literally right at the beach. I have some sand from the beach as well as Gold Beach where an old friend of mine was a radio telegrapher in a landing ship on D-Day (the day after his 20th birthday). On Remembrance Day after we got home I gave him some Gold Beach sand he was surprised and pleased I had thought of him while we were there.
