The last several port photo contributions have been lighthouses, so I will continue that theme for this unseen Cunard port.  The lighthouse and radar structure is a short drive on an unsealed dirt road from the port and town.  Photo is from wikimedia commons, but I have been to the lighthouse to watch the sunset before staying overnight in the town.

Amazingly enough, I did an image search and something similar popped up - I rarely get positive results with image searches, so perhaps this being a Wikimedia Commons photo helped.

What I found was the Vlaming Head lighthouse near Exmouth on Western Australia’s North West Cape. I haven't been to that part of the country, so cannot verify that from my own experience.

Correct on all details, well done @ExArkie.  Exmouth is a small town in northwest WA, population 2,514 in the 2016 census.  It is also the biggest town for several hundred kilometers in any direction in that part of Australia.  Mrs sfred and I stopped there overnight on a drive from Perth to Broome.  The sunset over the Indian ocean from the lighthouse was beautiful.

We've reached 150 pages on this CruiseCritic thread.  Another impressive milestone!

Now that we've reached page 150, this may be a good time to update our unseen Cunard ports list.

I've made some additions to this latest version of the list. Somehow I managed to miss a few ports listed on the itineraries for the current Cunard fleet. Add to that a port found in an old Cunard brochure. I've highlighted the additions to the list below in red.

OK, it is a stretch to say that I've "been" to this unseen Cunard port, but I was on the ground there in the airport.  During an overnight international flight from Australia, a red warning light flashed on that said "land as soon as possible", and this port happened to be the nearest place.  We spent about 12 hours in the airport while engineers performed the necessary repairs and we were able to continue the flight.

Here are public domain photos of the airport concourse, and also the port area.  Both pictures have clues that should enable an identification.

I've been slacking off on port identifications recently. I'll rectify that situation by saying I think this one is Saipan, Mariana Islands.

Correct!  The emergency diversion was on an overnight Qantas flight from Australia to Tokyo.  Saipan happened to be the closest landing place when the red light flashed on.

The airport photo has a display titled "From Aslito to Isely" which are names of airfields used in WW-2.  Aslito is now Saipan International Airport.

Unfortunately, with this scrape of the bottom of the barrel, I'm now out of places on our unseen list that I've been to.

I am going to post a picture of somewhere I should have been, if the cruise hadn't been cancelled for Covid: this must provide a rich supply for a number of us.

Norwegian Aviation Museum in Bodo, Norway

Identified by a friend who is a former Navy pilot (browsing CC this morning, with this post open on my phone when he showed up for coffee). He evidently knows the location and appearance of every aviation museum on the planet, based on his stories...

He is, as you would expect, correct. We were hoping to visit, when calling there last year.

Here's one of the missing list, sorry about the quality but it's a screenshot from a video of a sailing holiday we took here several years ago

We were on the Ferry to Volos after our sailing holiday, so on a cruise, but just not one you dream of

Ah, that hint about Volos helps considerably. I had been looking at this port, but apparently not close enough given all the other candidates to look at. Even after that hint it took some effort to match a few of the features in this image to other available online images.

I think this one is Skiathos, Greece.

I had been working my way down the list of unseen ports, looking at Med or Caribbean places which I thought likely for a sailing holiday.  I looked at 2 or 3 places each time, but I hadn't gotten as far as "S" in the list.  It was a difficult challenge - all the usual clues of flags, signs, cranes, buildings, or ships were missing or blurred.  Good contribution, thanks @rakkor.  Best wishes for your upcoming QE trip.

Oh, sorry @sfred. I should have let that one go a little longer before requesting a hint to allow you to work further through the alphabet. I bailed after making it through all the prime suspects without finding a match. I had taken a pretty hard look at Skiathos before giving up on it and moving on. Of course the hint about Volos put Skiathos back at the top of the list to investigate again. Even then I found it wasn't a slam dunk to verify.

No problems at all, @bluemarble.  I definitely wasn't getting anywhere fast, and there were too many possibilities, especially with numerous potential locations within each port   I was on the verge of waving the surrender flag.  My main comfort is that your identification wasn't one of the locations that I had examined but then discarded.

Something tells me we might have a few new Cunard ports starting tomorrow. Well just some sail-by calls from QE's current "Scottish Islands" itinerary. QE has been reporting a destination of "Claggain Bay Anchor" on AIS since her departure yesterday. One site I've found lists her itinerary for the next few days as follows.

Mull of Kintyre Scenic Cruising

Isle of Mull Scenic Cruising

Lock Tuath, Tobermory Scenic Cruising

Isle of Arran Scenic Cruising

I think I've seen Isle of Mull listed as a sail-by call on past Cunard itineraries. I don't recall seeing any of the others mentioned.

Let's give this one a try. This is another public domain image of a city on our unseen ports list I've visited but not on a cruise. I think this is the last place on the unseen ports list I can claim to have visited.

This doesn't feel like it should be hard, as there are numerous distinctive buildings, palm trees, and what looks like a Marriott logo.  But unfortunately I can't find a match.  I've tried Galveston, Palm Beach, Kahului, Santo Domingo, Mazatlan, and several others.  Perhaps someone else will recognise it?
