Now that we're starting a new browser page, this might be a good time for an update on our unseen Cunard ports list as encouragement for additional contributions.

This is Nevis, St Kitts and Nevis, at the Charlestown ferry pier.

Yes correct identification on island, town and harbour.

There is a tenuous link to a Cunard call, my photograph was taken on a shore excursion to Nevis from St. Kitts while on a Queen Mary 2 Caribbean voyage.

I'm starting to scrape the bottom of the proverbial barrel for places on our unseen list that I've been to.   There's only a small few left.

Here's a public domain photo showing a replica of a famous (non-Cunard 🙂) sailing ship in this Cunard port.  The ship will lead you to its famous captain, and his name should lead you to the port.

The ship is HMS Endeavour.

Could this be Cooktown QLD?

Cooktown and HMS Endeavour are both correct, well done @Colin_Cameron and @bluemarble.    Cooktown is in far north Queensland, and is the site where on 17 June 1770, Captain Cook beached the HMS Endeavour for emergency repairs after the ship was damaged on the Great Barrier Reef.  It remains a small town today, with a 2016 population of only 2,631.

Here is a picture of one of the places on the list. It is not my picture and I haven't but there, but the connection (and the hint) is that my father went there by ship in 1943. It was not a Cunard ship, though I believe it could have been, but belonged to Netherlands Lines.IMG_1625.JPG.997a3c90f91fd7d7f350af498cad33c0.JPG

I think this one is Bizerte, Tunisia.

I'd be interested to learn more about the ship that took your father there in 1943. I've learned Marnix van Sint Aldegonde of the Netherland Line served as a troopship in the Mediterranean at that time.

Johan van Oldenbarnevelt also served as a troopship but apparently operated as such primarily in the Far East. One interesting tidbit I found about Johan van Oldenbarnevelt is that she was later renamed Lakonia which is a very Cunard-sounding name.

Yes, it is indeed Bizerte, though I've since checked his diary, and he didn't in fact land there, but in another Noth African port on the list. He was taking part in Operation Torch.

The ship was the Johan van Oldenbarnevelt, which, as you say, later became the Lakonia (nothing to do,with Cunard, fortunately), and sank under rather ignominious circumstances. According to his diary, my father spent several rather unhappy days off the Clyde in gruesome weather, while the convoy was assembled. After that, he seems to have quite enjoyed himself.

This is the extremely elegant waterfront of the port where he did actually land - in pouring rain.

Since those appear to be Algerian flags in the foreground, I'll hazard a guess that this is Algiers, Algeria, mostly because that's the only port on the unseen list above that is in the country (unless, of course, I missed one).

I think you've got it. I've found references to the Johan van Oldenbarnevelt making three voyages from the UK (one of those from Gourock) to Algiers in early 1943 as His Majesty's Transport (Troopship) #32. Perhaps more to the point, the photo is also a good match to Algiers.
