ipeeinthepool Posted October 19, 2020 #7 Share Posted October 19, 2020 What? No water cannons? No welcoming ceremony? The title should be Port Everglades snubs the Apex.

Jeremiah1212 Posted October 19, 2020 #14 Share Posted October 19, 2020 Possibly the most unceremonious arrival of a new ship to port that I've seen! 3
DrivnMike Posted October 19, 2020 #15 Share Posted October 19, 2020 How weird is it to see a totally empty ship? No passengers at the sunset bar, no one hanging out on their balcony... strange.. But a welcome sight none the less!
GeorgesGal Posted October 19, 2020 #16 Share Posted October 19, 2020 Finally a step in the right direction! Port Everglades probably happy to finally be getting some income! Looks like she might be sailing December after all.

BigAl94 Posted October 19, 2020 #19 Share Posted October 19, 2020 Presumably in port for crew changes, provisioning then back to lay up for a few months.
SeaWatch12 Posted October 19, 2020 #20 Share Posted October 19, 2020 Wish this had been announced. I would of gone to the state park in Dania Beach to watch her arrive to the port like I did for the Edge in November 2018. That was so exciting to see, especially since they made a big deal out of her arrival. Here is one of my photos from that morning.

phoenix_dream Posted October 19, 2020 #23 Share Posted October 19, 2020 If only Celebrity would let us know if she will be sailing soon! We moved our late Nov cruise to next year, but would love to see her starting up anyway.
Esprit Posted October 20, 2020 #24 Share Posted October 20, 2020 Apparently the Entertainment staff are due to board once they complete their 14 night hotel quarantine. The theatre cast will do a six month stint too!
