queenofthebalcony Posted November 14, 2020 #77 Share Posted November 14, 2020 We cancelled our Feb 2020 cruise. Did not want to take a chance on 2021. We are booked on the Freedom for Jan. 2022. Hope all will be okay and we can go. I am taking my granddaughters and spouses and great grandkids with me. They are first time cruisers. They are so excited and so am I. Will be my 27th cruise, but each one feels like the first one to me.

My next cruise is may 2021 on panorama. We are celebrating my wife's retirement and maybe mine. Lots of friends are booked from all over. Looking to have lots of fun and time to catch up. April 2020-its our annual sister cruise. Missed last April. Fear we may miss this April as well.

Rare sid_9169 Posted November 18, 2020 #82 Share Posted November 18, 2020 I was supposed to be sailing the new Mardi Gras next week, but of course now it's been further delayed... I've now rescheduled for the same week next year, God willing...
kdr69 Posted November 18, 2020 #83 Share Posted November 18, 2020 Well I am scheduled for March 27,2021 but now that cruises have been cancelled up to end of January plus the fact that its out of Los Angeles (which I'm pretty sure isn't going to be one of the startup ports) I am researching new cruises in November out of Orlando so I will be ready to move it for the 4th time when Carnival sends me the cancellation email. Sigh.....more headaches waiting for refunds to credit cards and re purchasing all the extras again. Wish they could just transfer EVERYTHING over. This will be the 4th time waiting for refunds and then repurchasing Cheers, FTTF, excursions, cruise cash etc. etc. etc.

dlbaqua Posted November 20, 2020 #85 Share Posted November 20, 2020 Just rebooked today, this is try number 3 for a honeymoon. October 3rd & January 28th on the Dream were cancelled. So, I talked my husband into upgrading to a week on the Vista 10/16/2021. Here's hoping

Butterbean1000 Posted November 22, 2020 #91 Share Posted November 22, 2020 We just canceled our February 2021 8 day (which I'm sure will be canceled) and rebooked an 8 day February 2022. We have never booked this far in advance. We have a long wait, but I'm still not confident we'll even cruise then.

Prismism Posted November 22, 2020 #93 Share Posted November 22, 2020 We will be on the Dream! Chin diapers on- with drinks of the day in hand! Hopefully, with reduced capacity, I'm sure to win every single ship on a stick up for grabs! Look forward to the best review ever.
momof3cruisers Posted November 22, 2020 #94 Share Posted November 22, 2020 I am glad you are optimistic. I’m supposed to sail Feb 1st. I’ve been optimistic up until this last cancelation but now I am highly skeptical. Hopefully I am wrong and we both can have a cocktail and win some ships!

Jelly_Toast Posted November 23, 2020 #99 Share Posted November 23, 2020 My family's next cruise is November 2021. We always cruise over Thanksgiving but thanks to COVID we are home this year rather than cruising right now. I'm iffy about whether we will be able to go next year. I did book with OBC from this week's cancelled cruise but if COVID cancels another one I will cash out and find a different way to vacation. As far as what we will celebrate on our next cruise is the end of the pandemic (or at least the worst behind us) because I won't cruise again until I'm sure it's safe.
