MS Nieuw Statendam is scheduled (always subject to change) to sail today at 1700, EDT.  While the sound is still dead, I expect to see great coverage of the departure and crew waving from the deck.

The ship is currently on the Fort Lauderdale webcam at:

As she leaves the port the coverage will shift to the Port Everglades webcam:

https://www.portevergladeswebcam.com/

Also in port but scheduled to stay overnight is Seabourn Odyssey.

Awesome.

So where is she moving to?

Anyone knows her planned schedule for the next few months?

We're booked to be sailing on her Aug 1 out of Amsterdam...

Thanks,

She's still in layup mode so going back to sea towards the Bahamas and lingering/loitering there until she receives concrete orders to start getting ready to accept passengers and a full crew complement

Btw Roy, the audio for the 17th Street bridge (opening and closing for marine traffic) is coming through loud and clear

Yes, that would be the VHF , but we're missing the mike on the condo that captures the toots.
