I have a card with zero ATM fees.  Is there a fee to charge Casino chips from my account?

Back to the original question.  Is there an ATM?

Even if your card does not charge an ATM fee, the machine’s network could charge a hefty fee, which your bank most likely would pass along to you.

Not all do so, my bank credits 100% of all fees incurred from anywhere in the world

Mine does, too. I have never been charged a cent on any ship or in any country.

The last time I was on Marina (not Riveria) there was an atm in the casino.  In USD. That was Dec 2019/Jan 2020.

I also was on Riviera in Dec of 2019 and distinctly remember there being a machine of some type in the casino by the cashier's cage .They have also in the last 2 or 3 years set it up to use your Sea Pass card for the casino. Since I don't do that I don't know the details.

I've seen some pretty hefty fees on ATM's in casinos. That's really nice of banks that will cover that. Would you guys mind sharing what banks debit cards waive all fees worldwide?

We don't really have one of those here, at least not as a traditional bank.  Do they handle all banking products or are they just an investment company?

Same here and where live we have no brick and mortar locations I believe only in SF do they.  They are still though the best bank I have ever dealt with.

Agree - no brick and mortar in Oregon either but with mobile deposit and free use of any ATM worlwide, no need for brick and mortar!

Charles Schwab Bank is a separate entity from Charles Schwab Investment......you can go to schwab website and read what they offer.

Agreed and we use them for both, very pleased.

Many banks will waive all ATM fees or at least a certain amount per month if you have substantial funds on deposit with them or their affiliated brokerage company. Wells Fargo and B of America are two examples.

Thanks for the info. I really like using a bank that has a local presence. I'll look into it though.

We have both...but think we have actually only been in local bank (credit union) twice in 4 years!

Read the fine print for your bank card. Zero ATM fees generally have certain exclusions for cash machine sources. In particular, watch for ATM lookalike machines in airports. Some “exchange bureaus” (e.g., Travelex) offer ATM-like transfers with fees NOT covered by your bank.

Do you have a Schwab debit card?  I try to avoid Travelex just because of their poor exchange rates, but Schwab has always refunded all ATM fees no matter where they are from.

I should’ve been more clear. My comment was meant about the high exchange rate “fees” on those exchange bureau “lookalike” machines.
