I dont remember the original itinerary for this 9 night sailing but I think they are only missing one port, St thomas.

Shame they couldnt arrange an overnight at one of the islands but all the cruiselines have been re-arranging so it cannot be easy.

 

Edit, I just looked up original itinerary was PR, St Thomas and St Maarten so they only lost 1 stop.  Not bad.  I much rather go to st kitts than st Thomas.

Not really just commenting, giving opinions on what others are reporting on their cruises.

 

None of these comments are my thoughts alone. Other's are saying the same things. What am saying is nothing new, it's out there on this site. But if you only read what you want to hear, that is fine too.

I guess that's cool.  We're choosing not to cruise now that masks are req'd on c/vv, as well as in areas on rc such as casino/theater/etc, but I still encourage those choosing to cruise to have a great time.  But you're certainly free to try to put a damper on others...sure they appreciate ya.

So just saw the USS COVID. Seems this is the ship following around RC ships to isolate COVID + staff . 

 

Saw some ppl being taken there this AM.

They are everywhere, everyday. Usually no line to get a professional picture taken. I have even seen some ppl getting 15 min photo shoots, in all sort of poses. Some ppl are very photogenic others prefer to stay off camera.

If it's making extra money for the cruise line they are doing it, afterall this is a business.

I was on 12/12 cruise. Yes, it is free, sort of. A limited amount. Only on port days at certain times and they go quickly. It is on the royal app but only released at 8:00 on the day of. By 8:02, all the free spots are taken. Of course there are many other times you can purchase it- I believe its $49.00

If cabin mate doesn't want to try it, you can go a second time their slot. As mentioned, be ready at 8AM on port days (and embarkation day) - only 4 persons per time slot. Keep checking after 8AM - on the day I booked the second slot, booking didn't open till 8:05.

We take a cab to Marriott St Kitts.  You can buy pool pass about. $10 but we walk straight thru past casino on right and hotel lobby on left and continue past pool to the beach and walk left of the pool to the adjoining public beach that is always empty on week days.  We stop in Marriott casino 🎰 before heading back to ship.  They have nickel video poker and simulcast horse and dog racing.  Inexpensive gambling day.  

 

St Kitts reminds me of Hawaii.  So lush and  uncrowded. My fav island.

Ripcord by iFly is the same thing thing.  

Northstar is free too but the same thing goes- reservations open at 8 and go quickly, although I found Northstar to be slightly easier to get than ifly. Also, Northstar is only free in port.
