Anthem NYE - Live

Officially on board. 

 

RCL transfer service A+ service.

 

They picked us up in a MB sprinter van. We are a party of 4. And had 2 additional people in van.

 

Check-in was super effecient. On board in 25 minutes. 

 

Currently in WJ enjoying a quick bite before we walk around and get to know this magnificent ship 

 

I will try and post pictures and updates throughout cruise. 

 

Everyone seems to be happy and excited. Crew as always are amazing. 

 

Just booked dining and shows. So far all shows are bookable .

Tonite we have Chefs table. So excited.

Safe is undersized. This is a 14" Laptop and. iPad  they won't fit. For comparison these fit on Freedom OTS

At Boleros. Nice crowd of ppl. You can sit at bar. Mask optional.

 

Service awesome as usual. Ppl are happy to be cruising, everyone super friendly.  Internet is being fussy and we are still in port.

 

Having a El Presidente. Zacapa 23 is my favorite Rum.

I have never done a NYE cruise. Maybe someday. In the meantime I will be following along with interest, not least because I will be sailing on Anthem in September.

Should have a better sense once we celebrate Tonite. Another CC member stated we are sailing at 2600. 

We love NYE cruises will be our 5th.

 

 

Hmm line for customer service seems rather long.

Thanks for this! Sailing on Anthem in Feb.  We did a NYE on her 3 years ago. 

 

Esplanade is where it's at for NYE.

 

Pro Tip: Later during the week they show the digital fireworks shown for NYE in 270 for free.

Have a great cruise!  Always love to follow along and go on virtual cruise!  Those prices are high for “may” have treats?  It should be unlimited food treats lol at those prices.  Enjoy and happy New Year.

At Schooner now. No bar stools but you can lounge around at bar. As soon as ppl leave bar area. They quickly clean area. Very impressed.

Staff appear to be double masked. Not sure what that is all about.

Well I meant things like Northstar and non shows.  I had to go to customer service because the RCI app dropped all of my reservations and at customer service they are able to pull up at their end to see what is on your reservation when the app FAILS. And ours did for about 24 hours on Anthem in Nov.
