@JessicaB, you do not need to wait for the "kit" or the certificate.  Just call the regular C&A number and ask for the Pinnacle specialist.  They have you in the system, and know that you are eligible for that free cruise.  They will happily book it for you.

I did that too.  I book through the C&A's D+/Pinnacle desk and I had a bit of a wait to connect with the Pinnacle specialists in Reservations but they handled everything beautifully.

I have still not received Pinnacle Kit from turning P in March, almost 7months ago, plus only reply from C&A department from my June email with queries for using free P cruise certificate, is that I can book a cruise, email to them and US$2400 will be deducted.

Have heard conflicting replies if DP340 discount will be applied. As I am in/from Australia, our prices on RCI Australian site include all port charges, taxes and gratuities.

My next cruise is on Ovation in 2weeks and will be 1st time since March 2020 that RCI have had a ship here in Australia.
Are there any Solo Australians on here who have cruised and applied Complimentary P certificate to a cruise that can advise how price is calculated?

I assume that you have an Australian phone number for Crown & Anchor?  Call them and ask to speak to a Pinnacle specialist.  (pinnacle free cruise specialist)

Have you gone via the site link  I suggested in #73?

Yes I did, but is different in Australia - I want quote before book my free cruise from Pinnacle Certificate. I haven’t received Pinnacle kit which has Certificate No. with conditions, but advised to book a cruise, pay deposit and send reservation # to C&A Australia who will apply Pinnacle certificate. I am waiting to hear if my DP340 discount will be applied to cruise, plus if cruise I’m looking at booking if on special, do I get discounted price? I’m not prepared to pay an extra AU$1000+ if discounts can’t be applied for a 7 or 9night cruise.

Wonder was just delivered to RCI yesterday but they must be working off its first sailing (is that in March?)  If they let me upgrade, I will be just fine.  Our February cruise is already in a JS and that would be an upgrade from the certificate, which is based on an Ocean View balcony.  If not, we'd use it for a summer cruise.

We used our last one on a July 2023 Wonder 7-night Western, and it saved us ~$5,000 (OV Balcony). This was a cruise we booked when the itineraries first came out knowing that we would receive the certificate long before the ship sailed based on our cruise schedule. We should get our next certificate just about when Utopia of the Seas passes her one year anniversary - if she stays on schedule.

I thought you couldn't use them in July and August

Just to clarify prices etc:

I have an 11n cruise booked onboard for 2 with the following costs:

base cruise fare 4750

less 350 balcony discount

 less 1724 NRD 30%
plus 444.02 taxes

TOTAL 3110.02

there is $250 obc from booking on board and there is $100 shareholders obc

I was going to take 2400 off leaving 710.02

but now concerned about losing the obc and wondering whether to use it against a cruise with less obc ; and will I lose the 350 balcony discount too which would make the fare 1060.02?

thanks

The only restriction I am aware of is that you can’t use them during the inaugural year of a ship or on holiday sailings. If there is a summertime restriction, the resolutions department in Guatemala wasn’t aware of it.😇

Hello,

I have been told, by many - both here and on-board, you lose the OBC and Balcony suite discount but keep Shareholder OBC. Being selfish I am pleased to know I keep the DP340 discount.

Each person who acquires 700 points gets the free cruise….one per person. What seems to be the confusion here?  If there are two of you in the same cabin and you both reach 700 at the same time, then each of you gets the free cruise.  If, as a couple, you reach 700 at different times, you get the free cruise at the time you reach 700.

we only got one

Hello,

You are thinking of the DP340 Solo's discount. The so-called 'Blackout Dates' are: Christmas/New Year's sailings; and a ship's first 365 days in service.

Thanks Molly.
 You think they would spell it out rather then write the vague “not combinable with other promos or c&A benefits “
Also I wondered if you or @Ourusualbeach knew if they were combinable with f&f discounts?

BTW, this is completely different than the free cruise T&C’s on RCL’s C&A Pinnacle page:

Hello,

The chief difference I note between the list of C&A Benefits and the Pinnacle Cruise Certificate is that the PCC now excludes June 15th - August 15th sailings.

However I would also note the date of the PCC T&Cs is 2nd February 2022 whereas the list of C&A Benefits is "Valid on sailings departing on March 15th 2022 and onward" so one would expect them to apply.

For the free cruise, is it book the cruise within one year of turning Pinnacle, or is it that the sail date must be within one year of turning Pinnacle?

Also, does it allow for any balcony category to be booked at no additional cost, or only the lowest category (Specifically talking about Oasis Class with the Neighborhood Balconies, but also wondering about the Large Balcony categories)

I'll answer your second question.

For the free Pinnacle cruise, 3 criterias must be met:

* In the Caribbean

* 7- nights

* Balcony

If you meet this criterias, you can book the most expensive balcony...it's free.

Otherwise, you can apply the $2400.

* There are other restrictions...but just trying to keep it simple.

Thanks Molly. Good thing for us that the resolutions department in Guatemala doesn’t read english all that well.

If you apply the $2400 to any ( non Caribbean) cruise, can that be a non balcony cabin and can that cruise be longer than 7n.?  I was going to apply it to one where I have no obc so I don’t end up losing too much.

Using the figures above I’d lose $350 obc and the $350 balcony discount to save $2400

Spring break seems to cover a huge window from 2/18 right through to 4/22 next year….?
