Loving all the pictures.    While it looks exactly what I had hoped to see, we have spent the day on Isle of Wight with beautiful blue skies and 20-21 C temps.

Keep up the photos,  you are bringing Norway to us.

Thanks so much for taking us along with you! Just wondering, in post #37 you have a picture of a drink with fresh raspberries, is that from the WCB? We were on the Silhouette in March and I had this delicious drink that had fresh raspberries, I don't remember what it was called or what was in it.

Thanks, Denise

ditto I am loving the pics of Stone Henge. Saddly in my 60 years whilst having driven past the stones many hundreds of times on the A303 I have never managed to stop and see them. My daughter only managed on a school trip ( we are obviously very neglectful parrents ). The ponies in the New forest however are old friends . With a pony mad daughter no dad living near the new Forest could fail to take his family to  Burley  to see the ponies 🐴🐴🐴🐴🐴

I love your videos, and photos.  What deck are you doing those arrival and departure videos?  It looks so close to the water.

We are on deck 11 and the GoPro is strapped to the balcony outside our room. it is set for 1 frame every 2 seconds

Quick question, what is Taj X?   It's been a few years since I have sailed on the Silhouette, but this Isa new one on me.  It looks like Indian food?

Tonight we had Taj X. It is usually only once per cruise and we have tried it on Silhouette, Eclipse and Reflection. It may be on other ships and I am sure others can confirm. It is uaually in Sushi on Five or the Porch and is not well advertised but usually sold out on the first day.

Today we had a Celebrity Shorex booked entitled "Molde High Lights".  Unusually the dirrections were to go straight to the bus on the pier which was great as no mass congragagting in the theater. The first part of the tour was a visit to an open air museum of old Norwegian buildings

@Redking The Lillet Rose and Blanc I brought on as my 2 bottles of wine, I also brought a bottle of Angostura bitters and a small bottle of sugar syrup. I requested a bottle of cognac and a bottle of Cointreau. I also asked for Oranges and lemons along with a suitable knife to cut them with. We also have Champagne, Coke Zero, Club soda and Red stripe in the fridge

The Boston shaker, Hawthorn strainer, sieve, jigger, citrus press, peeler and NaCl I keep in my travel bar roll. bringing ones own bar tools might seem a bit odd but I enjoy making a quick drink in the room to have while we dress for the evening. Technically the Lillet is an aromatised wine but I reckon it counts as the two bottles of wine we are allowed in the room.

With everything I have I can  make a Brandy and soda, Lillet and soda, s side car ( cognac, Cointreau and lemon juice), an Alabazam (similar to a side car but with less Cointreau and lemon but the addition of 10ml of angostura and 5ml of sugar), brandy and coke, a mimosa, a champagne cocktail (champagne, cognac, bitters and sugar) or just a Cointreau over ice. So my in suite bar menu is quite extensive. 😎

So I love a sidecar. Do you think if I go to World Class Bar and ask for a cinnamon sugared rim on my class they will accommodate without thinking I am asking a lot?

We went to the WCB on Equinox in November. They would only make the drinks on their menu, no exceptions. Luckily I found a Manhattan that worked, but we didn't go back.

From my experience it is about building a raport with a bar tender. If they have the ingrediants most bartenders will make what you want. Cognac, cointreau and lemon are no problem but a sugared rim takes a bit more. mention that you would love one tomorrow and I am sure they could manage.

My SIL doesn’t drink alcohol.  Three of us ordered one of their concoctions and she asked for a Diet Coke.  They said they didn’t have it.  We left and never returned.  I’m sure they could have gotten one from somewhere ….  They directed us to go to Al Bacio to check.

True.  No wine either.  Drinks from the WCB menu only.  It is not designed or intended to be a regular bar.  On the Solstice class they make the special drinks for Sushi on Five.  It is part of what makes the WCB so special for us.  Never very crowded.

It's amazing that we often never explore the treasures in our own backyard.    Next time you will have to take the magic route and view them up close for free.

As long as you have a copy of your PCR positive test and letter of recovery you don’t need to test to board

That, logically is what we thought. However, I asked CelebrityUK via their Twitter page and the response was that we still needed a test. (see below) LCelebrity.thumb.png.2f43559a534d4c9c9f395dc2eca38a47.pngooks like we've been misled. Can't see them refunding our test costs though.

@groryjm any chance you can ask guest services or your concierge what the expected total on board is for the next sailing leaving the 7th?

It's now showing sold out on line but that may be because its two days before departure.

You're coming back to glorious weather, predicted to reach 25c by next week in the South

I had that problem on one ship but the bartender knew what time I came and would bring one from another bar.  Then he asked if he could switch to Coke Zero which was easier to find.   Now if you want a real challenge try for a caffeine free Diet Coke!   I think I found it once I the Silhouette!

In their defence if they did that for you they would have to do that for everyone. The drinks at wcb are time consuming to make and if they had to keep wandering off to get other stuff it would affect the service. I’ve seen how busy it can get when the theatre kicks out and guests start asking for  beers etc they would have  a never ending job. It is a specialist bar after all.
