Could be the reply posted was incorrect or that the ship was already provisioned with lobster so they served it.
Mark_T Posted January 21, 2023 #7 Share Posted January 21, 2023 (edited) As usual, the only consistent aspect of policy changes is the inconsistency… 🙂 Edited January 21, 2023 by Mark_T

Mark_T Posted January 21, 2023 #12 Share Posted January 21, 2023 To be fair, the current cruise left from New Zealand rather than Australia…

I missed the change from $16.99 + grat. $16.99 X 18% = $20.04. Unless something changed, in Australia they don’t break out grat separately, they include them Edited January 21, 2023 by NutsAboutGolf

This seems definitive, but look what I found on the peasants' MDR menu for my upcoming cruise on the Summit in February (day 3 of a 5-day charter out of Miami, FYI):
Rare Lena11033 Posted January 22, 2023 #17 Share Posted January 22, 2023 Well one thing they are consistent with being is inconsistent. Is the Europe thing a new change because when I was on there was lobster. I have a 4 night cruise coming up in the next few weeks so will be interesting to see what they have
Rare cruisemom42 Posted January 22, 2023 #18 Share Posted January 22, 2023 I love how they say "We do not serve complimentary lobster in Europe, Australia or Asia" as if they had never done it. Talk about a poker face. Yes, they have served complimentary lobster in Europe....until now. I had it twice on BTB Connie sailings in the Med in October 2022.

Rare PineappleTraveler Posted January 22, 2023 #22 Share Posted January 22, 2023 I will be heartbroken if there are none on my 5 night. At least put one in a specialty menu for me :(. Still shows up on my app menu for April but that's next to worthless information.

mayleeman Posted January 22, 2023 #25 Share Posted January 22, 2023 $20.04 rounded down to $20? So they aren't scrounging for every penny as some have claimed! 1
