I can't remember how much it was last time when I got stuck in a LAX parking garage (without finding a spot) but when I wanted to leave to try another garage I was charged more than $4.80 that's for sure. Well, at least they tried to charge me but I refused.

American is the worst of the legacy carriers these days. They were good ~ 2008-2014 back when United was god awful but oh boy have times changed. I just had a $88.20 flight credit refunded as a new voucher today after it didn't work anymore. Took just 11 emails and a DOT complaint and they made sure to not issue it for a cent more than my original credit. Mind you, I'm still Platinum Million Miler with them, not that it matters as they treat everyone equally horrible.

There was a post one one of the boards where a lady checked her family in and accidently posted Yes for her husband.  When she called they told her not to worry they would fix it at the port when we checked in.

In the past for 7-day cruises when we did not want to inconvenience our daughter, we would park at the hotel we use for pre-flight stays.  Parking is $10 a day but it is inside a garage and if we get our usual spot, is covered by a security camera.  The price has since gone up to $12 a day.  There is a Marriott right at the airport that offers free 7-day parking that we may consider on our next short trip. 

 

Parking at Washington Dulles is stupidly expensive and always crowded. 

 

 

Our plan for our upcoming cruise, since we will be gone three weeks total, is to Lyft/Uber both ways.  That's about $200 but cheaper than parking.

My only complaint about The Grill OKC is how loud the music is. I took a work call a minute ago and Coolio was definitely Gangster Paradising in the background. I stepped across the way to the bathroom floor privacy. 😆🤦🏼‍♀️ Now The Rembrandts are loud and proud with The Friends theme song. The 90’s called and said turn it down!

I’m not sure why it’s so darned cheap but hubby and I got an offsite parking reservation at IAH George Bush Houston for under $3 a day! We are parking for 3 weeks and needed cheap options but this seems really inexpensive!
