Lobster dinner tonight in the MDR. Lobster tail didn't look to small until the waiter took it out of the shell. 😳 At least it was very good.

Sitting here at Coco Cay looking at the Mariner berthed next us a was suddenly stricken by the departure RC has made with the launch of the Icon. Gone is the one feature that set a RC ship apart from the other lines, the Viking Crown is no more. Since it’s beginning the Viking Crown was the major external focal point of this cruise line now it seems just the color scheme is all that is left. Nostalgia over comes me this morning.

Me too!  Loved the Viking Crown, such a good view from there.  We met Chris several cruises ago, great guy.  Would love to pick his brain about the Casino program.  We don't gamble much, I'm such a chicken, last bandit I played I stopped at $57 winnings!  But may be willing to learn to secure points for a free cruise!  Hubs split a pot of Texas Hold 'em once.  I watch the Traveling Gamblers!

They charge for the 2nd although last night, after I ate the 1st,  my waiter asked quietly if I wanted the one Sharon didn't order.  Same with our friend, wife didn't have one so he was asked if he wanted another.

It didn't start with Icon, the Viking Crown doesn't exist on the Quantum class either.

 

I also miss it.

Ah! Good point. Completely missed that as I have not sailed on her. I forgot they changed the structure and silhouette, not just simply re-purpose it. So I assume Utopia will also be like that.
