Oh. I didn't think anyone meant it was going to be changed in the future. I thought they meant originally a different name had been announced and then they changed it to Sun Princess.

My two weeks aboard Sun Princess last month were excellent. 
Loved being on a new ship and the all the crew were amazing. Great food and entertainment too.

I do have one regret!

 

Never managed to max’ out my 15 alcoholic drinks a day. I gave it a good try though!

Booked on today for a summer 2025 sailing. Looking forward to seeing how the unlimited speciality dining will work with the premier package! Is there enough speciality restaurant space?!

Were are in Sun Princess now and have got some more info on the upcoming changes

 

The Sanctuary will have:

- A 'ring for Champagne' bell

- A small buffet area the other side of the bar in addition to the bento menu

(Source: Mark the Sanctuary Manager)

 

And my other half overheard a Suite Concierge Manager saying they could not book a suite passenger into the Crown Grill on the penultimate day of this cruise - 22nd - because it was moving location. So I have not verified this but it looks like some changes may be in place for some on the TA. Will try and get some more info.

I wondered when they were going to close the restaurants so they can start switching them around. What are your feelings about the new locations for the dining venues?

And, of course, one biggie will be how the new Sanctuary/Signature restaurant seems to take shape.

Thanks. I see that the SD restaurants are open a little later on that ship. They usually close at 9PM on the Enchanted.

Maybe it's only because they're in Europe right now.

seeing as we seem to spend a lot of time on CC saying “Seriously Princess?”

The Ring for Champagne sounds like a direct ripoff of Virgin who has a "shake" your phone for champagne.
