  1. I use the Solarium hot tubs (and the pool on M-class) from 4:30-7 or so precisely because fewer people are around. If it's adults only, it should be adults only.
  2. Opening a window when the weather outside is cold will . . . let the cold in. When the window's down, the heat is off.
  3. My IV's window was so dirty I couldn't see much after day 1.
  4. Really? When it's hot and humid, I want my A/C. 🥵
  5. Besides flying, the other option will be Brightline, but it won't be cost-effective.
  6. Not that I know of. If they booked with a certain big box TA, they won't get a MU offer.
  7. I'm still waiting for a call from my request on 4/1. No foolin'.
  8. I've parked at Port Everglades more than a dozen times and it's never been tricky. You can't reserve a space -- but you don't need to.
  9. Sure. Which is why I'd never put my passport in a backpack.
  10. From MCO? Not hard. There is no station in Cocoa.
  11. You could post on the appropriate Port of Call board.
  12. Russia requires a passport even if on an approved excursion. I did a two-day excursion with Alla Tours, which arranges the visa, and had to show my passport both mornings when I got off the ship.
  13. Yes to movies, but it can be too windy to enjoy in the Rooftop Garden.
  14. Update #8 from the airport is 9 am as mentioned above.
  15. Be that as it may, I've shown ID at multiple ports. Sometimes it's a requirement.
  16. Celebrity has Evening Chic nights, and even jeans are acceptable on those nights. Dress info from the FAQ on Celebrity's website: EVENING CHIC Each itinerary features one to two “formal” nights we call Evening Chic. Evening Chic means you dress to impress, glamorous and sophisticated in your own way, with a cocktail dress, skirt, slacks, or designer jean, an elegant dress top or blazer—some guests even pack a tuxedo or gown for onboard photos. The Daily program, delivered to your stateroom and available at the Guest Relations Desk, will be your guide to the correct attire each evening. If you do not wish to participate in Evening Chic, Smart Casual attire is acceptable for dining and theater.
  17. My understanding is that the person who was managing the spreadsheet passed away and no one has taken over.
  18. Then tell your steward he can skip one of yours.
  19. Boarding-day lunch in the Oceanview Cafe is not as bad as it sounds. Because passengers can drop off carry-ons at their staterooms upon boarding, there's less congestion and fewer bags to trip over. People also are not hogging tables waiting for the "Rooms ready" announcement; they eat and depart. But yes, the Mast Grill is generally open for burgers, hot dogs, and fries. You could also eat lunch ashore before boarding if you're that opposed to joining folks in the buffet.
