I agree with your post except for the last paragraph. CC did not allow posts naming TAs well before they were owned by a major travel company. I believe the rationale was the boards would be inundated with posts recommending TAs or criticizing TAs and there would be self advertising from TAs.

My experience is that you used to be able to do that. (We once used an offer twice for a HAL cruise). But I do remember reading that they stopped allowing that.

How about in an inside cabin? Yes, I realize you can always request, but has anyone in an inside made the request and received a robe?

Do you even have to have the sound on the tv when watching the video? In a real emergency, does anyone think they will tell everyone to go back to their cabin and turn on the tv for announcements? After all you act in a real emergency as you practice in energency drills.

One minor correction, it can be saved and still available if it is available to use more than 1 time. Those of course are not the large ones of several hundred dollars, but rather small ones like the one I have now for Peacock for $4.99.

Yes, when I needed to renew my NY state driver's license, I was asked if I wanted the new one that could be used as real ID. I then asked if there was a fee. I was told yes. Then I said I had a passport that had 9 years left on it, did I need this new license. I was told NO.

Yes, the crew has a lot of drills, but as has been pointed out by an experienced mariner like @chengkp75 , the old muster drill was the only one they did with actual passengers. The best practice is the one closest to what one would have to do in a real emergency.

Ours went up even more than that. I have a feeling we got a very good initial rate on the Prima 2 years out because our TA had reserved a block of cabins.

I had the opposite experience. When a new brochure came and it said 50% off, I e-mailed our TA. I had a feeling the price would be about the same as they probably raised the fare before the new percentage off. I just received his e-mail back. It went UP SUBSTANTIALLY. (His words.) (Until I saw this thread, I was going to start one of my own telling of the large increase.) It was the Prima for next summer which we had booked last year. It makes me think the ship is selling well which has had them raise prices.

Y8ies, i realize that, but how do you vote? There was a recent thread about some who were on long, long cruises and absent for election day having problems getting absentee ballots. How would you do that with the additional problem that your permanent address is a cruise ship?

If you wished to remain a citizen in a democracy, where would you register to vote if your permanent residence was a cruise ship?
