  1. Thanks for the review. We will be on the Prima next summer including on our anniversary. We always try to eat by water on our anniversary as a tradition that started with #1. On land we try to go to a restaurant with a deck we can sit on overlooking water. Being on a cruise ship counts as being on water, but being able to sit with a view of the ocean will make it even more special.
  2. Didn't see a plank on either of the NCL cruises we took. We have one booked on the Prima, I guess I should go over the deck plans and see where it is if there is one. 😉
  3. Not the person who posted they hated it, but I found it much too big. However, hate would be a strong term for how I felt. Maybe because of its size, I found it the unfriendliest ship we were ever on as to interactions with other passengers.
  4. Probably not, but it would get passengers' attention and maybe go a long way to curbing bad behavior. I suppose @chengkp75 would say it depends on the laws of the flag state and the Captain's discretion.
  5. We once did a transfer that was booked as an excursion since it took us to Canterbury on the way back to Heathrow airport from Dover. We had another one booked that would have taken us to Stonehenge on the way back to Heathrow airport from Southampton, but it was for 2020 and the cruise never happened because of Covid.
  6. I don't think we will ever find out since it does not look like the OP is returning.
  7. I wonder if the OP would have been happier if they sailed straight into a hurricane? And I wonder what the odds are of he or she returning to comment now that the replies have not been sympathetic.
  8. We always get a bottom line price from our TA, though on the invoice he does break out charges like taxes and port fees. And I agree with those who say it is the bottom line that counts.
  9. It's only a better deal if you end up not needing what it is really for, a possible catastrophic medical bill.
  10. And what kind of reaction would that get from the vast majority of stockholders who bought the stock for way more than that pre-Covid?
  11. @chengkp75 says it better, but it comes down to making training as realistic as possible is important. And I suppose the passengers also have to learn to listen to the crew.
  12. We would never have considered buying any electric item onboard, but then when my wife's camera stopped working after it fell from a hook in a bathroom in a restaurant in the port of Edinburgh, she needed a new lens. We actually priced the lens later after we got home, and the Princess price was competitive.
  13. And the sad thing is no one, or at least very few, seem to care. I agree with you that it will take some sort of disaster for this to change, and none of us really want that to happen.
  14. If it is cancelled soon, they might just chalk it up as a big mistake and hope it is soon forgotten.
  15. And practically no one will miss it when it is gone.
  16. Is TA gifted OBC ever non-refundable?
  17. You can report it, and let the mods know you put it in the wrong forum and ask it either to be moved (if you have not posted it in Celebrity or have it deleted if you have already posted it there.
  18. 👍 for both getting on the cruise and getting your license mailed back. I once physically lost mine in Key West. (They had said to take ID off the ship.) They did let me back on, after all I did have my cruise card with the embedded picture.) My license later did show up in the mail, though before that I paid Motor Vehicle to get a replacement.
  19. Is that like if a "tree falls in the forest and no one hears it, does it make a sound?"? Has anyone considered it works for John Heald's cabin, but no one elses?
  20. There are three little lines to the right of the post number. If you click on that, one of the things that comes up is edit, but there is a limited time after posting you can do that. I'm not even sure if edit comes up after the time. I'm sorry I do not know the exact time limit. Report also comes up. You could "report" yourself only asking to rid the post of the travel agency name apologizing for including it.
  21. I don't even know if there have been partnerships between cruise lines in the same corporate structure, but at least those would make more sense than Cunard and NCL.
  22. Yes, we recently stayed at a hotel where we could cancel up to the day before arriving. On the day before arriving a pending credit showed up on the card.
  23. Oh my, this sounds like an old Albert King blues song, If It Wasn't for Bad Luck, I'd Have No Luck at All.
  24. The AMEX offer has nothing to do with AMEX as a travel agency. They have lots of offers (you will see 100) and very few of them are travel. And even if you click on travel to only see those offers, you will see things like Sunoco gas, hardly something a travel agency handles.
