  1. Not saying powdered eggs, liquid egg in cartons, I asked to see the carton one time, they contained liquid egg inc gluten as the wheat thickener. On Coral the other week in HC omelet station they spooned liquid egg from a steel container into the small omelet pan, not a hot griddle as you state.
  2. Totally agree having been on both. I am recently off Coral in Australia but been on her for Panama Canal and Alaska, also. I have been on most of the Princess ships, but Coral is my favourite.
  3. They already make plenty with massive marks ups, like Aussie Debortoli, $8 in the Aussie wine stores and $54 on the ships.(price on Coral recently.) Some of the Aussie cruisers on my cruise who took the premium package also complained of poor premium wine choice.
  4. The honest pax would test and isolate if positive, but not all are honest, some would just carry the lurgy around with them, knowing full well they are crook. Human nature unfortunately.
  5. Graham has the red carpet waiting mate for spethial people like you.
  6. For future reference Caribe deck balconies are big, mine C333 was half the size of the cabin. Half covered too which was handy.
  7. Does your medico son bulk bill you? lol. Come down here, 99% of the doctors hit you for 80 or 90 bucks a visit, concession card or not.
  8. Highlander is also the name for the top of the range Hyundai Tucson and i35.
  9. Long life UHT milk and liquid egg from cartons, like they make the omelets with.
  10. I liked the little bar man who stood on a box in the middle of his bar and entertained, lol. Legend and he could juggle the cocktail shakers. Yes I agree, Good Spirits Bar is the place to be on Coral.
  11. I have a couple of friends down here who were on the Ruby, both got covid, went to hospital and are part of the class action. They are still adamant Princess knew they had covids on board pre Sydney and conspired not to give the true picture to NSW Health, Border Force. Time will tell.
  12. Good points. A lot of Americans think the USD is the international currency, it is not. Some countries will not accept the greenback.
  13. Tipping is already here and has been here for decades. I tip 10% in restaurants if the food and service meet my expectations. I just got a gluten free base 🍕 delivered from the local pizza shop. Young and pleasant 18 yr old girl did the delivery, pizza was $25, I gave her $30 and told her to keep the change. Perhaps I am one of the last big spenders, lol. 🍕🍷
  14. That will not happen, laundry is a money spinner like the speshul restaurants, casinos and shorex.
  15. You are lucky you can eat what you like mate. For me it is a nightmare sometimes. On the ships it is generally ok, why I eat mostly at the buffets, wide range, I can pick and choose and ask the chefs. By the way my vet grandaughter told me there are gluten intolerant 🐕, fairly rare but they are out there.
  16. I thought mrs gut is coeliac or is it miss gut. Normal Pies a no, no for us types.
  17. Been to Nz 4 times, cruises and fly drive, including Tauranga, nice spot. The tour operators will make plenty, they subcontract to the cruise lines for tours at a price then the cruise line adds 30% or 40%. Agreed pax dont spend much on food etc, plenty of good stuff on their floating home.
  18. Oh yes, LOTR = Lord of the Rings, that Show made in Nu Ziland.
  19. I thought the food offerings at the IC were poor in comparison to those on other Princess ships. All I could get gf..coeliac was a stale little sponge cake, inedible. I loved the Horizon Court ate there many times, BLD, so much variety for those of us with serious dietary allergies.
  20. Just off Coral Princess. I was travelling solo but there were two beds that came down from ceiling. Ladder in closet. Balcony Cabin C333.
  21. Sure, most of the RATS are probably made in China 🇨🇳 anyway. One I used the other week pre Coral was.
