  1. Not discounting your experience at all, you were there, I was not, so this cruise sucked for you! That is really too bad, esp after spending so much hard earned cash. So with 6 cruises, 5 being great and 1 being sucky, that is still an 84% satisfaction level. If it were me, I'd not give up on cruising altogether, but perhaps I'd try another line when the time is right and see what happens on that experience.

  3. Bo - I’ll be boarding a cruise in October from Rome. If you don’t have an answer by then I’ll let you know what I have to do. I am quadruple vaxed though I will ask about unvaccinated.

  5. Don't believe I said I did not want to read them. On the contrary, I do, it helps me keep things in perspective. If people don't want responses they don't want to hear, then don't post, if they do, they are open to responses, some they will like, some they will not, pretty simple actually.
  6. If it is a tour you really think you wish to go on, you may want to consider booking it anyway, just to have the place holder if it sells out. You can always cancel it later without penalty, even on-board within the allowed time.
  7. So are you trying to tell me that Geraldo and Kethya did not really have any interest in seeing my grandchildren's photos and the trophy room dedicated to their peewee sports trophies?? Then why did I buy them a bag of red M&M's that can only be found in my hometown? Say it ain't so!
  8. Spot on here, IMO. Some say they are just "venting", really? The diatribes (on so many subjects) go on and on and on...I call it a RANT, a useless one at that! I book my cruises direct w/Celebrity and then move it to a TA, from that point on, I deal with and only with the TA. He is responsive and if/when I need Celebrity help, he does it on my behalf, though it is rare I need to do this. Also, when I was booking on my own during the craziness of cancellations etc. I called Celebrity on a number of occasions, never had an excessive wait time, never, and almost always the issue was resolved. The times that it was not, was frankly because I misunderstood something or did not read it thoroughly, so yes my fault. Considering what they have had to deal with as a company and the CSR's have to deal with day in and day out, and stay professional with many of their callers, I have been pleased and impressed.

  11. It looks like the “new” boosters may be rolled out in September and the Biden administration says Moderna and Pfizer will be ready to go, if so, some very potentially positive news.

On the other hand, grown adults, who I assume have been going out to eat/drink during their adult life, needing to ask strangers, gee what do you tip, so I know what I should do. Good grief

  19. I just had my 2nd booster just over one week ago and my Dr told me I can still get the new one when it is available in the fall
  20. Not trying to assume anything, but if your question pertains to excursions you booked now looking like they are outside of port arrival/departure times, if booked direct w/Celebrity, they will adjust the times accordingly
