  1. My TA offers pretty much 10% on the cruisefare including AI.
  2. Lots of substitutions and upgrades and the drinks are certainly not limited to those 8. Last cruise the vodka was Titos and there were lots of cordials including a cream liqueur similar to Baileys. Also always 2 or 3 imported beers.
  3. Do you care what time you board? If not, maybe check in and select a later time to board and avoid the rush. Want to be on board ASAP and have lunch on the ship then check in within a day or two of when check in opens so you can select an earlier time slot. The earlier times usually fill first. PS - Welcome to Cruise Critic
  4. Suggest you look at your roll call or the ports forum. Maybe also check out activities scheduled for your cruise Departure times vary by both the ship's time in port and the duration of the activity. I have had excursions begin at 7am, others not until 2pm and everything in between
  5. Sadly no lounge event for Elite members any longer with appetizers. Just go to pretty much any bar. A Manhattan will not be a problem. To the prior poster, of course you can get regular sodas. Just not high end sparkling water.
  6. There are two Aqua cabins so everyone has AI. I would ask at checkin. Make the change at guest relations after things settle down on boarding day. Pretty easy to swap keys. Order the proper bed configuration now.
  7. Getting on board is easy. Celebrity will assist from the checkin counter to your cabin. I agree in contacting special needs and they can coordinate.
  8. The cabin came with a beverage package. That package include a large number of non alcoholic beverages. The policy is clear that you cannot downgrade unless you cannot consume alcoholic beverages. Seems pretty simple to me to have your doctor write a note that you should not consume alcohol. The policy makes little sense, but that is what it is.
  9. Do you really care? You are arguing about something that is meaningless On my last Celebrity cruise at dinner we observed: Shorts Swimwear Wet coverups- assume over a wet swimsuit Muscle shirts T-shirts with racial, profane and political messages Sweatpants Bare feet About all I can say is everyone wore clothing. Nobody topless - male or female We refused to be seated with a male with what my DW felt was a rude t-shirt. Movin on.
  10. Great location. Very quiet. The casino is carpeted. There are lots of reviews under the cabin forum.
  11. It likely is only on the US website. Thus if in Australia go to the US website and sign in. Should see it then. We have done the reverse signing in to the Australia site as there were differences
  12. Do not remember Wairau being available by the glass. On our last cruise the Sauv Blanc being poured in the basic package changed 3 times. If they have CK Mondavi would think it would be at or near the base price at it is the least expensive label they produce. It sells for only about $5 locally a bottle.
  13. Some will give a large tip. Some none. Your choice.
  14. On Celebrity the Seder on our cruise was organized by a passenger. No Rabbi on board
  15. Not sure what you would call awful. Pretty much the same as every large airport in the US. Without TSA or first class the lines are usually reasonable. They move quickly unless you are behind the person with keys in their pocket and a metal implant. Lines get longer at meal and break times and mornings when there are lots of flights. Same late afternoon.
  16. FWIW when we wanted to eat on our veranda we ordered pastry, coffee & juice. I would go to OV and get bacon, eggs and hash browns. That way they were hot.
  17. Uninstall. Reboot. Clear cache. Try again. Many threads on the app not working on tablets.
  18. New staff and probably short staffed means one certainly needs to be flexible today.
  19. Maybe the OP could change the title to Very Long Survey. . .
  20. Agree. If you have good credit lots better card offers out there.
  21. To jwlane. Three things. Whales and Whaling in Puget Sound Coast Salish History and Culture by J Clapperton is in my library. Doing a Google search I found 311 books searching Indigenous whaling on the Pacific Coast Second I find your continuous comments that state what myself and others are posting as "allegations" is insulting and rude. Third, goodbye 👋
  22. Actually the nightly happy hour is wherever I am located.
