  1. Absolutely - wouldn't even consider providing music for those around me. 😊Just as I wouldn't put a call on speaker for everyone to listen to.🙄 Now, if those around me will kindly reciprocate.
  2. I have not ever been told to email "Resolutions" although I've had issues that required escalation. I've asked if there's anyone I can email, so I've given them opportunity to say Resolutions. Recently due to a FE fiasco, I was told to email Guest Relations, which I did. Maybe that's the same - what email address did you use?
  3. We really enjoyed walking that park. It was a replacement stop for us last year due to Fiona and was easily one of our favorites. The pictures we took in the park really highlight the fall foliage.
  4. I've never considered downloading music to listen to on a cruise - I now have a lot of work to do before Sept 15 and my deck time just got exponentially better!!
  5. Being under the Gallery Bar and/or Casino is much preferred to being under the Galley, IMO. The bar is not going to have anywhere near the banging that the galley will and the noise dues down fairly early.
  6. Thanks @Time For Dreaming we knew it was coming, but good to see official notification from HAL. I also received notice yesterday and the online itinerary is indeed updated. My ❤ goes out to the locals.
  7. Yes @Clummus bags are still given during your cruise. Your cabin steward will put one in your cabin. If you will receive the plasticy water repellent blue one as posted by @oakridger or the white cotton canvas one as mentioned by @vicd1969 will be up to your ship & steward - if they've run through their supply of the 150th anniversary white ones, it will be the blue one. Regardless, if you ask, your steward will gladly give you one of the blue ones - I prefer them for wet/damp clothes, they're perfect for post spa swimwear. I leave mine in the cabin at the end of the cruise, but they are yours to keep (unlike laundry bags). Day passes are $50, 7 day is $149. No discount pre-pay 8r onboard cost is the same. If you buy a day pass and decide to upgrade to the 7 day, you will 8nly pay the additional $99, so you aren't paying $50 + $149. I use the heck out of a Thermalpass - I go at least 2x/day working on a bum shoulder & other aches. A tip to help make the metal roller beds more enjoyable - take a small inflatable pillow. Safe travels - enjoy your cruise!
  8. You will know when you get to the deposit portion of the booking. Or click on the Labor Day Sale banner on HALs website to automatically filter a list of all cruises that qualify. If the sailing you want is not there, then no it is not included.
  9. Thanks for allowing us to tag along. AK is beautiful - can never get enough. 🐳We go each May and Sept to start and end the season; appreciate an extra "virtual" trip. Aft wrap is THE place to experience AK; we had one as a gift from HAL on our 1st cruise to AK, which was also our 1st time on HAL. I look forward to your posts and pix. Safe travels - enjoy your cruise!🚢
  10. Interesting. The current single use bottles the rum comes in should be glass and recycled. Would like to see the container that holds the rum used to refill the new bottles. If it helps, I'm in; progress is good.
  11. Thoroughly enjoyed your posts and pictures - you took some gorgeous print-worthy shots!! Safe travels - thanks for bringing us along.
  12. @pschweig this made me so nervous, too, I wouldn't do it. But after seeing substantial price drops on the airline site and reading so many posts from others who do it AND being told by FE agents they would have to cancel a current reservation just to check a price, I finally tried it and it does work. Just click on "change flight" and it will bring up the original search screen after allowing you to select which passenger you want to change. Then as @SilvertoGold said, you continue through the steps and you'll see the flights and price options. Once you've seen them, just close out - no changes will have been made. Just don't agree to any changes... When I've called in to ask FE to check on new pricing, thinking it would be easier for them to just look up the flights and tell me the prices, they always ask "may I have your approval to cancel your flight and search for new one?" NO!! You absolutely may not.
  13. So many things to cheer for today: bacon YES please, too hot for tailgating but it's fun, souvlaki absolutely, honey apple cucumber sounds interesting, DH shaved his beard yesterday, certainly will try the wine. So much goodness... Oh, Baby Murphy - my heart aches for you and your family - you have a lot of people pulling for you 🙏 💔 ❤ PT seems to be already doing its job - I was able to touch opposite shoulder this morning. Small victory, but a win is a win. 😊 Another win - local Kroger has seasonal Pumpkin Carmel yogurt in stock. That means yummy goodness to enjoy and lower temperatures are eventually coming.🥳 Mechanic on his way to pick up my car, so I will come back to read/catch up later. Wishing everyone a great day.
  14. Anybody else still waiting for their refund?
  15. Hey - since you're not far from me (76018), how 'bout I pop over with my box o' creamer and I'll pick it up from you on the Lido, lol!! I've been trying to decide best way to get enough flavored creamer for upcoming B2B.
  16. Yes, when you go to checkout, you'll get a notification that you have OBC and asking you to confirm you want to use it. Safe travels - enjoy your cruise!
  17. On the ship, I missed it every time when I walked toward the MDR, but saw it when walking the other direction, away from MDR. The entry is on the MDR end. It's long & narrow and really doesn't look like a dining room (on the outside). When you're at the small tables next to the windows, if you look into the glass "wall" across from windows, you're looking into it.

  19. All of the ones I've stayed in or seen have had a clothesline, including the tiny shower-only w/curtain my sister had in an inside cabin. Not saying all showers do, just that I haven't seen any w/o.
  20. Hey @sydney dog if you have an opportunity to go to the 9th Ward while you're in NOLA, you'll likely still see an area not fully recovered even 18 years later. It's heartbreaking and frustrating at the same time. Seeing to learn why and how to do better is far different than going simply "to see." IMO
  21. You didn't mention them, but HAL has been visiting Alaska for 76 years and does a fabulous job there. They have itineraries where spend a full day in Glacier Bay.
  22. We quite enjoyed Saguenay last year; it was an added stop to accommodate Fiona's visit. Wishing you speedy recovery on the shoulder; I am doing PT on mine now and understand how painful & frustrating it can be.
