    Is this the first time it has been in Sydney? I don't have the patience for that. I go away and have a coffee or an icecream and come back later keeping an eye on the ship.

    When I was on board Ocean Princess from Singapore to Sydney, I could pick out a lot of the coastline. I was surprised a larger ship was even closer to the coastline than we were.

    The Alaskan Marine Highway ferries berth in a different area to the cruise ships, so you have to get a taxi down town in the big places.

    What time is Majestic Princess scheduled to leave? Rain has eased here, which will be nice for sailaway.

    Are ships close or in the distance and you know them by shape. Ships come close at Caloundra.

    Could one of the ship experts on cruise critic list the ships currently in Australia, under size and number of passengers? I was surprised Magestic was so huge and Coral was more large.

    Being a Queenslander, a sunny day wins every time. I find a grey day depressing, and a short grey day (London) even worse. I hope you don't get effected by these supercells they are predicting at the end of the week in Queensland.

    I think service discounts should be for everyone not just Americans. When I've taken visiting Americans to our Anzac Day Parade, they are always moved and say "we don't have anything like this at home".

    Sounds like you enjoyed a perfect day at sea. Pleased you had the best haircut, as I understand how nerve wracking it is to have your hair cut by a strange hairdresser. It is always a joy to spot dolphins at sea. Have you seen any flying fish?

    With the ultrasound, the first place cost just over $100. The second place, which was within walking distance, was free (bulk billed). Pays to shop around for same service.
