  1. Yes but RS and above are different as Premium Bev Package and Wifi ARE included in the stateroom amenities along with specialty dining, bar setup, laundry......
  2. Doesn't matter what you are upgrading from if you win a RS or above you get what they call the all-in suite benefits detailed by @jelayne above which includes Premium Bev and Wifi but not the OBC or gratuities. If you had gratuities included in your original booking then you will be charged the difference between that amount and the suite gratuities.
  3. Have you weighed just booking now and cancelling the other reservation?
  4. While you might get lucky with WhatsApp you will probably not have success with WiFi calling with your Cellular provider. With Premium that works well.
  5. There is a 50% flash sale going on right now for drink packages on selected sailings this year. Premium Wifi is $19.99/day. This could factor into your decision on Always Included or not. Unfortunately the Zero Proof package is not reduced. If you aren't going to drink alcohol then the Zero Proof might be a better choice than Classic as with Zero Proof you get the premium non-alcohol things like Vitamin water, Premium bottled water like San Pelegrino.
  6. Rules were different in March 2022. They still had the Cruise With Confidence program in effect. I believe that program ended April 30, 2022 (start of the Europe season) and has now reverted to the pre covid policies. The best price guarantee now only covers a drop after final payment if the fare drops within 48 hrs of booking (if you book after final payment). https://www.celebritycruises.com/company/customer-support/best-price-guarantee
  7. You are correct the interior of all these cabins are exactly the same. The difference is going to be location. V2 is going to be a standard balcony cabin on a lower deck. DV is on lower decks and has a larger angled balcony. Most of these are mid ship which are more desirable, the ones forward are slightly less. C2 is going to be on higher decks probably in about the same locations as V2 SC is on the higher decks with an aft facing view of the wake. My preferences would be the DV or SC cabins. Edit: If you provide the sailing date we can probably give better advise based on the cabin availability.
  8. Yes there has historically always been a few alternate sailings offered where they protect the rates. This is really not right. I could probably understand them not protecting rates on the Ascent as it's a new ship but I would think you should be able to switch to any other TA with a prorated per day rate protected. I'd definitely be flooding the executive office with this request.
  9. Sounds like you finally got to someone who may be able to help resolve.
  10. In the past they would offer to refund change fees but not too sure they will do that anymore since most airlines don't charge them. The big issue is people could have booked non refundable air. They generally do this type of thing more than 330 days prior to the sailing date to avoid the airline complications. I do think it's pretty irresponsible to do this now for the sailings inside 330 days.
  11. If you are before final payment but have happened to pay in full you can still reprice. The ability to reprice stops at 90 days out (or the official final payment date listed on your invoice.
  12. This thread is 4 years old. Much has changed with NRD deposits and there are several more recent threads on those changes.
  13. @burrma I understand the NRD T&C completely, including the new changes after March 2023 where NRD deposits are completely lost on cancellation. If you do have one still with partial FCC you have a year from when the FCC is issued to apply it to another sailing, not a year from the original deposit. Additionally the new sailing can be further out than the 1 year. The caveat is if you then cancel after the expiration of the FCC the entire FCC value is lost.
  14. I agree completely with @Ken the cruiser. Remember that even though your placeholder sailing is booked with a refundable deposit when you select a sailing to move it to you can select any rate you want. NRD, AI, Cruise Only. The key is to book a refundable deposit if you are going to move it in the future.
  15. The flight to Lima was commercial. When we went over 10 years ago the charter flight stopped in Guayaquil each way (for fuel/supplies) and for our particular trip to MP we connected there to Lima which was direct on a commercial flight.
  16. They do prioritize cabins for B2B passengers. We changed cabins this last one and the new cabin was ready by 9:30/10 when we returned from the B2B festivities. And it was in Barcelona May 2023.
  17. The fact that it was still available for MoveUp to me indicates that it is overpriced for normal purchase for a suite. Enjoy.
  18. I believe those are the 4 on deck 6 among the Royal Suites with the slightly deeper balcony like 6144. The two more forward have connecting doors to the adjacent RS but the ones aft aren't connecting but do have some unlocked gates on the balcony as it's part of an emergency exit.
  19. It's a proprietary algorithm controlled by the 3rd party provider of the bidding service with input from Celebrity.
  20. We were there last month on Constellation. Post #2 is correct.
  21. There's at least on large retail store with a travel department that doesn't participate. But most people will get bid offers available to all categories including insides and guarantees.
  22. Turkey parm has been on the menu for quite some time. It has been my choice on that menu. Their turkey in the buffet is very good.
  23. Can anyone explain how well Windstar handles dietary restrictions. DW is diabetic and follows a very strict low glycemic index diet. We have traveled for many years on Celebrity and they handle it very well by reviewing the menu the night before for the following evening and customizing something on the menu or offering an alternative. Just wondering if anyone with experience following a strict dietary regimen can explain how Windstar handles?
