  1. We are booked in Europe for summer 2024. Just go to booking and select any month in 2024.
  2. Yes, I was confused on wording so I called Princess. I asked if we could use the at home non monitored government issued Antigen test. Was told NO, it had to be a "monitored test". A monitored test would give you printable certified result that could be uploaded. A non monitored test would be a photo of test, ID, and time date. Princess states both eligible. Of course if I called again, I'm sure I'd get a different answer. We have a place in Long Beach and there's a lot of availability at CVS/Walgreen, and always our previously bought Emed tests. Just don't want t show up with wrong test.
  3. I was told the same thing, It must be an "observed test". We're going to wait till Feb, then start getting concerned. We have Emed tests to use as a backup. Princess really needs to clean up it's info.
  4. Painters tape isn't as sticky as electrical tape, works great.
  5. 1) Crown 28day South Pacific 2) Regal 25day British Isles/TA
  6. 1) Carnival Panorama Mexican Riv 2) Royal 14day Glacier Discovery 21days All great no complaints from Us. Wife did get covid last day of Royal but was asymptomatic
  7. Where did you find this info? We decided to just wait it out till closer to sailing date. I'd like to think that passengers would do the self-administered test honestly, but there's those that might not. Why even require a test? All I'd like is a hard answer which is hard to get from Princess.
  8. Before the Plus/Premium program 1 person in a room could order the " Drink Package." I'd still get the answer from Princess. I know I've ordered this package and my wife hasn't. You'll also read of people on this forum who've had one soda/one drink package. I'm willing to learn, as there is nothing in these terms and conditions that spells that out. 9. Medically observed or self-administered antigen home test must be taken within 3 days before embarkation. Could this be anymore confusing? According to Princess a "self-administered" home test is still one that is observed. I asked if this means I could use the government free Antigen tests that were sent out, and was told NO. I'll stick with my Binax observed test.
  10. January 2010 Carnival Miracle off the Baja coast. 28ft seas.First pools drained, then all outside areas restricted. Barf bags in all elevators. Trays of PB&J sandwiches all over ( PB&J best thing to eat if seasick, tastes the same coming up as it did going down). I"ve done a lot of fishing in Hawaiian waters and have gotten sick before. The looks on peoples faces as my son and I walked around drinking beer. We had the last side cabin on a top deck. Nothing would stay on the tables and we were getting tossed when lying down. Good fun. Half of serving staff missing at dinner in dining room.

  12. No full promenade deck Very small balconies Deluxe Balcony rooms have small sofa Mini is alittle larger than DB, has bathtub and 2 TV's along with curtain partition. I'm sure others will have more differences.
  13. I ask for a table for 2 with 2 push in chairs. Neither of us wants to have to squeeze through the tables to sit on the bench. We also don't want any other persons a*s in our faces as they squeeze through. A lot of times we're given a table that's right next to the service bar.
  14. This cabin is still available on our March 2023 28day on the Crown. We have our favorite, E730!
  15. I booked 5 cruises on the 14th for 2024 Europe. Yesterday I paid $4000 in deposits, not that big of a deal as my 3 Aus/NZ had to be cancelled after Princess cancelled the last one SYD-HKG. This am I go to check my bookings and see $100 deposits and $100pp for balcony rooms and $150pp for mini. I called right after opening and first agent kept me on hold "trying to figure out what she could do" for around 15mins till hang up. Called back and 2nd agent got me all the OBCs added on the 5 cruises in about 5 minutes. It all depends on who you get.
  16. Pre dry dock problems have been posted and posted. Post dry dock is a whole different case. It's been posted that the cruises post dry dock have gone out without speed or vibration problems. Guess we'll find out on our 28day cruise in our favorite Emerald deck mini. We too like the vibration in the aft cabins.Cruise ships entering LA ports have to adhere to slower speeds due to wildlife, believe what you want.
  17. Princess cancelled our 21day Sydney-Hong Kong in April 2024 to move Majestic back to Alaska. Had to cancel our other 22 days ahead of that one.
  18. On Carnival, you can bet that you'll find several drunks sleeping in the the clam shells.
  19. Depending on the type of room you book, the pencil to paper comes pretty close. Mini is $17pp a day Internet is $10pp or 50% for Elite, 1 drink package $70.79. The total is $124.79 a day for 2. Elite would be $104.79 for 2. If you don't drink $70.79 a day, of course it's a better deal to go Standard. I do like my beers, specialty coffee and water. I probably do come close to making the drink package worth while. My wife doesn't drink much, except coffees, waters and a Billini or 2 at dinners. A port intensive cruise would make the package not worthwhile if we planned to get off on every stop.
  20. They do open at midnight pst, BUT thats tonight for others non Elite to book. Itineraries will show for all, just will have a red "Pricing not available"tag until midnight tonight.
  21. Thread drift, but what were the Formal nights on the 28day cruise? Mahalo
