For Elite Disembark we sometimes go to the Elite meeting point. Other times there are better places to wait..we prefer same deck as the exit so we can just wheel our carry ons off!

ps I had a great outfit for SHINE but conked out early! Next time we may have to take an afternoon nap!

hope they enjoyed it! Maybe next time you can find a shorter excursion to Nevis..We had an interest in Hamilton and history, and were happily surprised about everything else included on the tour. At a minimum you can pick a quick way there...with a nice lunch and beach visit! Next year at St Kitts we are just doing a coastal boat trip but not over to Nevis!

Cunard gave us a list of which nights were fancier and what to wear...Shows were very good.. West End talent. Loved the Planetarium on QM 2 and the Spa area. Afternoon TEA was amazing and slightly dressy! But we usually stick with X!

if the ques is answered just let it be. sad to hear this news....I have enjoyed your reviews and photos, but recall that you always have travel issues that somehow get resolved.. This is much diff. If you are not bringing person who is on the res, it appears you may have 3 options: . a) substitute another traveler (do this early enough so paperwork and billing accts can be changed properly as well as requested bed configuration). b) just sail by yourself..have gf be a "no show" ..I have read about this but have no idea how it really works, c) cancel in time to get a refund Good luck!

..and some just enjoy being contrary in this case and the erupting toilet incident, X has been the " bad guy" in terms of customer service... We now know what NOT to expect if we have an issue or have one created by X ..They no longer " exceed expectations" (old tag line). Time to move on..

on our next cruise, I'm going to try to order the lobster tail as an appetizer..esp if the menu is like this one..no great apps. then I'd go for the lamb or beef wellington as a main.. our next cruise is a ways off..but getting good ideas!

we did not have time fir a full meak at Ke Bistro on Ascent but had a quiet "take away" lunch served to us at a table just outside Le Bistro..great sandwiches, delish vread ..and dessert. We .got drinks at nearby bar area..It was just perfect..lighter meal and lower price

News says many Americans (humanitarian workers, Church members) are trapped in Haiti, fleeing the violence in the main city. Not much yet from US State Dept..but at least one gov says he is hoping to faciltate rescues, as done elsewhere... May not be a good cruise port for awhile..chaos must end first!

There are enough of those threads that can be accessed for those who want that conversation Topic here was pre pay or add cost daily? if they add them daily, it clogs up the statement we check on the tv screen. Booking 3 or more = a crowded ship esp if it's cool weather. Lots of kiddos and they will be using the Solarium during family hours . Are you sure this is what you are looking for?

Thanks for posting...loved your review.. very descriptive! We recently enjoyed AQ Class on ASCENT. Wish we had the Beatles tribute show! Our fav dinner was at EDEN , lunch at Raw on 5..but all dining was top notch! Had a perfect evening at Rooftop..

Re the Effy give away item..... The Effy charms are very tiny pieces that go inside a clear locket. No real use for it but played the game once! Jewelry on board is expensive but you can bargain a bit, My husb bought me a beautuful watch for my birthday,, (not Effy,) I love it!

We decided recently that we will go back to using a TA due to X cust services changes...We found a nice local agent with an office nearby who is associated with a big brand but not big box..We may give them a try..They are eager to help... We have had good luck calling X for various issues...prompt answering and knowledgeable reps,.
