  1. If a particular varietal and region was important to me, I'd bring some with me. (Although I usually BYOW anyway).
  2. I won't argue that they will have a series of Italian sourced wines as part of the "house" list. But I did see one of the new menus posted in a thread here not long ago and there were varietals listed you won't really find produced in Italy. No doubt there is a representation of Cali plonk in there as well.
  3. Yes, but I think the OP will have to re-make the reservations so that the table size is adjusted from 2 to at least 4 in order to hold 3 people.

  5. Folks out there on this thread, do you really need to be on the package to get a drink delivered anywhere? Thought that worked out for everyone - even someone like me who doesn't purchase the PLUS fare option.
  6. I agree with everyone suggesting that the OP's friends likely had a targeted promo fare code (Uxx) associated with their profiles. However, I disagree with the above. Anything that is eligible for a guest a TA can book. The TA is either inexperienced or wasn't looking correctly.
  7. IDK - hope someone else does. My guess would be just in the few days prior. I am not even sure if the menus are available for full voyage or just a day at a time.
  8. Were you attempting to LINK a booking or attempting to login with Confirmation Number/Name/Birthdate? Do not try to link a booking - not even sure why they have that out there for guests.
  9. True, but they can also sail on Princess. IDC if guests want to dress formally every night for dinner. I won't be joining in, mind you, but it's their cruise too and they are quite welcome to dress up as far as I am concerned.
  10. As pointed out above, it makes no financial sense to purchase the Coffee & Soda package - unless only one person wants it - because a guest may as well but the Plus Fare option.
  11. Not really and not sure if I have already suggested much of this: Each of you login to Princess.com and review and even print off all of your profile info. Is it all correct? Look at Travel Summary info in Cruise Personalizer. Is that all correct - including your CC Member Numbers? Are your birthdates correct? Login to MC App - either web version or on device. Again, review all of your personal information. Is it all correct and does it match what you got on Princess.com? I presume when you called into Princess, you used the phone tree option to get to help with MC App. Using the MC App, go into Apps within Settings on your phone and clear data and cache and try logging in again. IDK what else other than to phone and write Customer Relations and tell them you are at end of rope and how long the issue has been going on and do not understand why your records in their system seem to have bad data and further why no rep's seem to be able to find and correct the corrupt data.

I'd ask the CVP for an official email where they acknowledge your records are incorrect in the Princess system and they cannot sell you internet at 50% off even though you are clearly Elite and qualify. Further that you are entitled to a 50% refundable OBC upon request at Passenger Services. Tell her/him you would like the email from some sort of authority as you have heard some folks having difficulty getting the OBC on board.

  14. 1. I don't think DMW is smart enough to restrict the free SD dining for a Suite guest to night 1. Besides, I have read reports in the past of Suite guests getting it on another night. 2. If your TA truly gave you those as a bonus from the agency, then correct - you see it on board. However, if it was a perk in a PCL promotion when you booked, then it really isn't from the TA at all (even though PCL gives them credit in the Cruise Personalizer). In the latter case, it should be showing in the Personalizer. If you only have the two credits in Personalizer (On Board Services or Travel Summary), then it should be the former.
  15. Try to book the whole cruise again sometime. (When you did the individual night bookings for the Dining Party of 7, did it always come back and give you a Private confirmation, or were any Split Table confirmations)? You are correct - if the app can assign you space at the same time and DR by individual nights, it ought to be able to do the same for the entire voyage option. But it is a flaky to be sure.
  16. Bottom of the home page. A black strip with social media logos and contact link. If you do not see that, look in extreme lower right corner for an up arrow and click on that to make the black band appear.

  18. That's fine. I would suggest making individual night reservations and to not book for the entire voyage option.
  19. You appear to be one of the afflicted guests who has the wrong Captain's Circle Member Level icon in the MC App. Login to MC App. Tap on your photo in top left corner. A menu slides out from the left with your photo again. Overlaid on the right side of the photo is a Seawitch logo. The color of the logo should match your member loyalty level. If not, that is the issue. When you have called in, did you use the phone tree to reach MC App help desk? That would be best. Perhaps that is where the referenced ticket came from. Of course you should not have to be waiting months and months for such a simple thing to be corrected. I do hope the issue has made it to the right person inside PCL. In this case, you should be able to order the MedallionNet over the phone and be charged the correct amount. Have you tried that? Another option is to write CustomerRelations@PrincessCruises.com and outline your efforts briefly and you expect to be able to order MedallionNet over the phone or get it on-board Day 1 at the pre-cruise price. Ask them for a reply authorizing the lower rate so you can show it to the Internet Manager on board. Do you have any record (emails for example) of this issue you could show to Passenger Services Desk on board and hope a mgr can adjust your internet charge? Just trying to propose some work-arounds, etc, since your record isn't getting fixed? Also, are both you and your cabinmate showing the incorrect Loyalty status in MC App? Somtimes, it is just the one person affected.
  20. Right... and plenty of guests like to share. However, my reading of various many posts since the outset of DMW is that many of those folks expect to dine with the same group each evening. Certainly anyone who was an AT diner and uses DMW for random bookings or is a walk-up, will expect to be seated with random different guests each evening. But those who are booking for full voyage are generally expecting same table and waiters each night. Perhaps the best way for someone to get a sense of this is to create a CC Poll.
  21. Look at the very bottom right corner of Princess.com home page. Do you see the word "Show" there? If so, click on that and a row of options will appear, including "Live Chat". If you see a down arrow (˅) in bottom right corner, then the bar of communication options should already be showing.
