  2. When the time comes (it is early now), you will find there is a range of dates both prior to and after the voyage where you can book flights with EZ-Air. You access EZ-Air via the Cruise Personalizer. Flights are available about 330 days from voyage dates. Note that if you are on a single voyage, the flights default to return and you will find them for sale 330 days from the END of the voyage. EZ-Air pricing for overseas is great and you can find good deals. Book as soon as you can and then keep an eye on the airfares. You book Flexible option with EZ-Air and you can make flight changes (including airline) anytime up to ticketing. For an example, we are flying in Business Class between Toronto and Rome with two different airlines (separate 1-ways in October & November) for about $850/pp/direction.

Not sure if you are going to respond to the questions asked, but here is one no one asked about - especially seeing as you might have been bumped due to blocked off section for Covid-19 quarantine space if needed. After booking months in advance, did you check your booking from time-to-time? Did you ever make an EZ-Air booking in the Cruise Personalizer. Keeping an eye on your booking helps to avoid last-minute surprises. It also seems odd that when you were bumped, there was no new cabin assigned since you indicate having to wait around Passenger Services to find out. We are wondering what five cabins were offered and where you ended up?
  7. How about fly to AK for a land tour and get on ship in Anchorage/Whittier, sail down to LA and keep going through Panama Canal and thru Caribbean to FLL. Then fly home. Too bad the weather is not ideal in the north and south at the same time.
  8. 99% you booked prior to the beverage package changes and introduction of new fare class - Premier (no extra "e" folks). Because Princess had a pre-existing beverage package called Premier, they had to finally remove confusion by naming that drink package "Plus" in order to match up with the fare class "Plus". There is a whole new beverage package called "Premier" which aligns with the Premier fare class. You booked before the name change and you are getting the same package as before. It's been renamed to Plus. You can read up on these on Princess.com.
  9. You have been affected, along with many others. You can phone in to Princess 800 line and listen to the phone tree. Select the option for help with MC App and explain the issue to the rep. Either they or a tfr to someone else should allow you to make the order over the phone due to App issue. 1-800-PRINCES and listen to phone prompts to select MC App issues.
  10. I think they already know they have long hold times. Monday is also THE worst day to call them.
  11. You will have to pay. The only way they pay is if they make a res - but that would defeat the purpose as you would have 8 individual bookings. Be careful... your friends might think you are treating them!! LOL.. 🎈🎂🥂🎉
  12. If this were to happen (and I doubt it will), all a guest would need to do is leave out 5 alcohol and 5 non-alcohol. As it is now, we trade all alcohol for beer and all non-alcohol for sparkling water.
  13. What I would like to see is an option to trade 50% of the mini-bar (half each of alcohol and non-alcohol) and get ONE coffee package in exchange.

  15. I like to have the starter pack and then quite happy to refill the bottles with ship's water. No single use bottle for me!! Right on!
  16. I would expect it to vary, depending on what kind of contract deal they can get.
  17. Wifi is a wireless connection from your device to an access point and router on the ship. Once you have that you are on ship's INTRAnet and you can use MC App. If you want to retrieve emails or browse on World Wide Web, you need access to the INTERnet which is an additional login after connecting via wireless (Wifi) to the INTRAnet. Apparently, Apple's iMessage works without an internet connection. However, it is only going to work that way to other Apple device users.
  18. Thanks for passing along the info. However, it appears that that Internet Manager had no answer as to why the internet is so slow now compared to the past.
  19. Yes, do try deleting the App and reinstalling it. Also, try the web version using the link in Cruise Personalizer. I really need more details of your situation and the steps you have done in order to figure out anything else. You can also call Princess and listen to the phone tree options and select help with MC App and work with them.
  20. That is unlikely due to rotations and time off. As mentioned above, keep an eye on the key crew mgmt thread that is permanently near the top of Page 1 of Princess forum.
  21. I'd rather get a starter water pkg from Princess pre-cruise and save my muscles for carrying on 🍷.
  22. I like the space on board. Worldfresh Marketplace has been a great improvement over the Grand/Crown class type crowded ones. Alfredo's was another good add. I don't like the Sanctuary design on this class, but there is a deck area we prefer where we can get max shade and be away from the noise of open Lido. I like the aft seating area for dining outdoors. Lots of room in the morning. We don't generally book balconies and the standard ones are too small to pay anything much for IMO. Like the jut-out balconies which are much more spacious.
  23. Actually, is it not more accurate to say they have carved space out of what would be Sabi's? This means less space for a reasonable $25 meal and now likely to be something like $100.
  24. I stand corrected. The member here could look in Cruise Personalizer for offerings. But I would look at making my own way to Rome and back to maximize the time there. A PCL bus tour will be the most inefficient use of time.
