We've cruised out of our home port of San Pedro many times and as recently as last month. Couldn't be quicker and easier.

We purchased the RCI Voom Surf n Stream. We also had our iPhones on Airplane mode and were able to easily text. No problems at all to do this from Quebec to Fort Lauderdale.

Sorry to hear that...Personally I think those that opted to go to Peggy's Cove are up for a disappointment.

There's Blueberry ice cream too. Excited to return to Bar Harbor again this October...Thank goodness it will still be a port stop for us this year...Next year...no.

Book a private tour in Halifax with Halifax Historical Titanic Tours and Paul McNeil. One of the most amazing tours we've done and many post about on these boards. If you're going to only book one excursion then this is the ONE for you. St John NB...check out Dave's Taxi Tour Guys another great option we've enjoyed.

There will be a kiosk just outside of the port terminal to purchase HOHO bus tickets. Their buses will be parked there...easy to spot you can't miss it. We opted to wait and purchase this way just in case we changed our minds. You'll do much better purchasing it there than as an excursion and do ask for the senior discount. We were also in Cartagena last year (Panama Canal itinerary) and easily did a taxi to/from the walled city. So glad we did this which gave us the option of spending some time at the amazing port with all the animal/bird exhibits.

It's refundable (your credit card isn't charged as it's just used to hold your reservation), but as I said above you must cancel it directly with the hotel and it's either 24 or 48 hours prior to arrival date to cancel your reservation or I believe they charge one night to your card on file.

There is one by the bed...I believe on the opposite side of where the phone is.

Some ships might but the last five ships we've sailed on recently didn't ask to see them when ordering in the SL.

We were just recently on Serenade in an OS and are D+. SL offered comp drinks/snacks during Happy Hours 5-8pm. They didn't ask for our SeaPass card in there. We used our 5 drink pre-loaded vouchers any time in other venues. No difference in the lounge hours SL vs CL/DL on Radiance class but you will have to use a voucher in the CL/DL if you opt to go into that lounge, and we see no reason to do that. Vouchers are only given to C&A members based on your level. Booking a suite has nothing to do with those.....as you know.

You can book your return from POM to MIA with a private company (we've used South Florida Shuttle and they provided a car seat) you can also book transfers with the cruiseline (large bus no car seat needed). Either option will work well for you. We have done both of these options and it's worked out great. The car seats we have been provided from rental companies and private shuttle companies have worked out well for us in the past as most all of them have been pretty much brand new wrapped in plastic. You do install them yourself due to liability but that way we are assured they were installed properly. Enjoy your cruise and you'll be glad you opted for making these transportation issues as easy as possible.

You can also (we have) called the hotel directly and got a confirmation and have them input any requests you may have and your membership number (if you have one) so you'll get the free breakfast. Once booked with VT everything else is done directly with the hotel including cancellations 24 hours before arrival etc.

Go to the end of the Malecon and just under the bridge there are tent vendors...we also go up the stairs or cross the swinging bridge at the end/middle of this area and there are many indoor type vendors in several buildings.

Our October cruise we had good weather only rained in the afternoon in one of our ports but it was no big deal.

We were on Serenade this past September and had great reception.

For our extended family group of 4 adults and two kids we booked the Thrill Water Park Cabana for $699 and that was a great deal.

We did the Panama Canal full transit this past October 2-15 2022 onboard Serenade. We had some great ports, loved our OS and booked it when it first opened at a great price and the best thing was it sailed from San Pedro our home port.

If you book a suite there is no discount deposit.

Agree...Our extended family of 6 experienced the same great service from Cruise Control. We had plenty of time for our 12:30pm flight.

Our extended family stayed at Home2Suites last April (loved this hotel) and had food delivered. The hotel has menu's from local places and lot's of people staying there were doing the same. They have a great pool area too.

I think you've made the right decisions. We've also rented through Costco and used their provided toddler booster carseat, and I agree, drop the family and luggage off first and taxi or Uber to POM.
