  1. Oh, I knew that. I just mis-read TeeRick's post thinking that mixed drinks were also available from 11 to 11PM.
  2. My cruise is April 28 and my cruise docs (and luggage tags) are not available. When should I expect them?
  3. Do you think this could be subject to change. I see that our Symphony cruise on April 28 has Labadee substituted with another sea day. Leaving us an itinerary of just Jamaica and Nassau.😣
  4. I watched one during rough seas and the money did not move at all. If you look at them carefully, you can see there's a lip at the end, so the coins and $ have to go uphill.
  5. We are on Symphony. Can we wait till we're on board to make specialty dining reservations so we can use our OBC? Don't know if Symphony's specialties tend to get booked early. We are in a suite, if that matters.
  6. Unfortunately, DH thinks his Highlander is a Rolls Royce and doesn't want an attendant driving it. So we always park in the garage.
  7. I'm thinking of booking Connie, leaving from Tampa. What would you suggest we do to avoid this ? (the chaos)
  8. It is pretty crazy at night, but not at all during the day. We were on a cruise that came in on Sunday night and stayed till Wednesday. Wednesday is Ash Wednesday and Mardi Gras is over and it's pretty normal then. Many of the parades are also family friendly.
  9. I just found a cruise on Constellation next year over Mardi Gras that stays in NOLA for three days! Off to do research!😉
  10. Thanks for responding. I'd really like to spend more time in NOLA. We went on a Celebrity cruise a few years ago and we spent two (maybe three) days there. We went to the WWII museum for almost one full day. It was around Mardi Gras, so about the same time of year as your cruise. It was really cold though. We arrived there around 7:30PM so I was really looking forward to cruising up the Mississippi, but it got really foggy and we ended up seeing very little. In fact, we passed a Carnival ship that was leaving and although we were very close, we almost couldn't see her. We do love New Orleans!
  11. How long were you in New Orleans? What did you do there?
  12. Some day creams contain a sunscreen that I read "somewhere" you shouldn't leave on your face at night.
  13. What shows have a suite reserved area for Symphony of the Seas? How late can you arrive ? Where in the theaters are the areas located?
  14. Going the day before is a good plan. We live in Punta Gorda and usually drive down the same day for Miami and Ft.L. We leave here around 7:30.
  15. My cruise is on Symphony April 28. I know I have to start looking to make reservations for shows sometime around the first of the preceding month (that would be today). That's the when. Where do I do this on the cruise planner? Is it pretty obvious, or do I have to go hunting for it?
  16. Ship-wide doesn't have lobster tails every night. Haven does. Haven's restaurant has the same menu every night. However, that menu has lobster on it (prime rib, filet, and lobster tails). Those tails are pretty small, so ordering two was hardly gluttonesque (sp?) and the waiters would often prompt people to order more.
  17. I could see this happening. I don't blame you for switching.
  18. There's also a thread over on NCL stating that the Haven is limiting lobster to one per person with a $25 charge for each additional.
