Shoot, we’re booked with delta, but I just checked and I’m almost glad the rates aren’t available for my Orlando flight because I would have been trying to re-book and cancel with delta!

I can’t believe I’m so late, I’m excited and following along!

So, I just want to be prepared if we end up going to Nassau. We will be on the Carnival Mardi Gras and it sounds like ships that are scheduled to call in Grand Turk have been going to Nassau. January is cutting it close for dock repairs and I’m just not going to allow myself to get my hopes up that we’ll get to go there. So my 4yr old twins have never been to the ocean and we were so looking forward to going to the beach at Grand Turk. Is there a close beach that we can walk to that’s free in Nassau?

How late is your flight? I feel like even if you’re the last one off you may have time to kill and a car isn’t a bad idea. Or maybe go to lunch somewhere before heading to the airport.

Here’s the description for the Value plan. I don’t think that’s going to work for you. I think you’ll need the premium plan for sure. Especially if it’s for work, I wouldn’t want to take any chances.

Love the view, I’ve never had the opportunity to book one. Did you ever find ourself wishing you weren’t on deck 2? I just feel like the location isn’t great.

Honestly it hasn’t changed how we cruise at all. If anything it’s a good reminder that anything can happen at any time. Hopefully it makes people take muster more seriously, it for sure made us more aware during safety briefings of what we would do.

Ok, this is exactly what I’m worried about. Especially with my son because he’s a rambunctious one and isn’t careful with anything.

We have the delta Amex platinum card. We opened it for a flight credit and one of the benefits included free checked luggage for any tickets booked on the card. Will that reflect in the reservation? Or is it just something we won’t have to pay for when we check in to our flights? Anyone with experience?

Is there a QR code or something in the room that tells you how to call the fun shops? Because we won’t have time to grab a gallon of water before the cruise so I’m guessing that’s what we’ll have to do.

Great review! The JW Marriott Marquis is my favorite hotel in Miami! We stayed there last time too. Don’t they have an amazing infinity pool too? Bonaire is on my bucket list, we’ve done Aruba and Curaçao so hopefully we’ll get back one day! Do you have any balcony pictures?

Not a bad idea! I also wonder how easy the couch is to turn back into a couch during the day. I don’t mind having it as a bed during the day, but it would be nice to have use of the couch. The Pullman just freaks me out a tad. Maybe we’ll give it a try? But my kids occasionally roll out of bed at home and I’m worried they’d get hurt on it. They’re only 4.

We’re going on a cruise in January with our 2 kids. We have a suite booked with a couch and a Pullman. We don’t actually want to use the Pullman, but I have a feeling since there’s 4 of us on the reservation Carnival will automatically assume we want to use it. Will it be made and ready for us when we go to our room or is it something that we have to request to have made up? We don’t want our steward to waste time making ours up when we’re not going to use it.
