  1. Royal uses this terminal whenever possible it's better than 19!!
  2. Tragedy upon Tragedy. It is hard to know what to say or do.
  3. @A&L_Ont Glad you are having a good time in my "hood". It makes me realize how fortunate I am to have all this around me. When I have siblings visit from Europe they have a great time and seem to appreciate the beach life more than I do. They are always amazed that I can drive 20 minutes and get on a cruise! Mary
  4. I was there at 7:30, really enjoyed my morning walk today. Temperature was 68F, delightful. Enjoy your day. I can recommend a restaurant called Tiki Tiki about 2 miles north of you. It's on the intracoastal. Very casual and Florida funky. M
  5. Not necessarily, there is music year round at the bandstand. Nice family atmosphere usually. Many locals including us go regularly. Spring breakers usually go for the action in Miami or Ft Lauderdale.
  6. Nice work on the luggage tags!🀣 Enjoy your cruise, will be following.
  7. This looks like the English Market in Cork. Great place to visit.
  8. Just saw your ship sailing by my condo. Great weather for sailaway, enjoy your cruise.
  9. @StLouisCruisers Glad you had an uneventful drive. I'll wave to you (actually your ship ) from my balcony tomorrow as you leave! Mary
  10. @sid_9169 I know how much Cozumel means to you, glad you had a good day!
  11. its been windy and cool here in So Flo all day. we are also under a high surf warning so you may be rocking and rolling as you approach PE tomorrow morning. I heard that only one ship made it into Nassau today (Disney Wish apparently). You might need a jacket tomorrow morning. Glad you had a good time. I sailed on her shortly after her arrival in PE. Passenger count was only 30% so I do want want to sail again with more passengers to get a more normal "vibe". I did really enjoy the ship and ranked it equal with Allure. Can't beat Mama Mia. Great that you got the ship model!
  12. Just found this live, already on page 4 have some catching up to do! Haven't cruised NCL in a while interested on your thoughts. Back to page 1 now to catch up. M
  13. I grew up in Europe and never saw chicken parm until I came to US. Few years ago did a transatlantic ending in Rome with my American DH and we stayed a few days after. DH was very disappointed that he could not get chicken parm. He told me that he thought I was joking when I said it's not really an Italian dish!
  14. Me too, DH health precludes my making the whole voyage, but this leg is very attractive and covers many ports on my bucket list. Just waiting for details to be released.
  15. That's interesting, I was reading on my balcony this afternoon (just south of PE) and looked up and saw a royal ship. It was not an expected time or position so of course I looked it up on cruise tracker. It allegedly was Freedom heading to Bimini having just left port Miami. I thought at the time that it must have been a med evac but maybe not. Didn't think it went to Bimini and track is very interesting. Population of Bimini is about 2000!
  16. @*Miss G* Wow that's an amazing photo! I thought the dust on my car this year was bad, but nothing compared to that.
  17. The wet foot/dry foot policy for Cuban migrants has been terminated. Now all migrants are treated equally and most are returned to country of origin eventually.
  18. There has been an influx of refugee boats in South Florida over the last two weeks. I live beachfront and a small "vessel" beached 3 weeks ago near me. I cannot believe that people are willing to go to sea in such vessels in an attempt to get the freedom we take for granted.
