  1. Instead of stating a segment on Day 1 they would start it on Day 15.
  2. The rotation is actually 28 days. Problem is that they usually start at day 1 at start of segment. Sometimes they realize they should start farther down the menu.
  3. Not necessarily true.. You get the credit that is stated when you booked. We have one trip wherein the credit was $2700 when we booked but later changed to $3600 whilst the total fare had also increased. We were entitled to only $2700 if we dropped the air later.
  4. In 32 cruises with Regent I have never used Regent air; I have always taken the credit. However, in next two years I have chosen to keep Regent air for three trips as credit nowhere close to allowing me to use miles or pay for tickets. You need to make the decision on a trip by trip basis.
  5. Deck 10 only off of pool deck; one door but then left for women and right for men. On Deck 11 outside of Galileo's there is a male and a female. All four are one hole. There used to be larger restrooms on Deck 10 but they were removed when they built Prime 7. Definite shortage of public restrooms on Navigator; best of the few is on Deck 6 starboard aft just outside of the theater.
  6. I don't think so. Three flights a day from Paris and flights from most other European capital cities; don't see how they could find 600 business class seats. I am as confused as you.
  7. Because there are 600+ business class seats a day into Port Louis?????
  8. Mike, thanks; will the second portion of the Grand Cultural on Mariner (1 Oct 25) Barcelona to Barcelona for 34 days also be a Grand Voyage or at least sold as a single trip? Marc
  9. Usually, there is advance notification and chance to advance reserve Grand Voyages; however, today there are five new Grand Voyages available for booking. I guess we are going to have to research quickly and get our booking(s) made. Marc PS Excluding of current voyages also became default view on Find a Cruise today, too.
  10. According to Port of Piraeus port schedule the Voyager arrives at 0600 on 3 June and doesn't leave until 1900 on 15 June. Dry dock or wet dock; no idea; however, not likely to be a charter (port schedule would show departure of charter).
  11. Jim, I need an honest opinion from you - is Jude as good as Margaret as CD? Marc
  12. Just stay away from Deck 10; moving of pool chairs and La Verandah chairs could get noisy in morning.
  13. San Pedro so Long Beach is closest airport; LAX not too far away, either.
  14. Mariner currently has a five day gap 10/12/24 - 10/17/24; really too short for dry dock; probably charter. Otherwise, no gaps in Mariner schedule until at least after 2025 World Cruise.
  15. Laundry if out by 9 is promised to be back same day. We had one ship where there was issue with stewardess picking up laundry but leaving it in work area on our deck until she went down for lunch; thus it wasn't in by 9 to laundry. One complaint to Housekeeping and that was fixed; never had the issue again. If you continue to have issues with your steward just ask housekeeping to change stewards; happens all the time and not an issue.
  16. Definitely talk to Housekeeping Supervisor or Head Housekeeper; no reason you should feel slighted. We have had a few "major" issues show up with initial interaction with stewards but all have been satisfactorily solved. As for sharing tables; just ask again. As for meeting people, I have found pool bar and trivia to be great places to meet others.
  17. If the cruise is truly "lacking" whilst ADM was onboard it will sure be a black eye for the GM and the senior staff. I have a number of friends onboard so I will be waiting for the post-cruise reports.
  18. Really quite simple and usually not that good a deal. If cruise including air is $18,000 and air "credit" is $6,000; then the 40% is calculated as 40% of $12,000 or $4,800. If they include economy air at $1,200 they have given you a 40% credit (in their parlance). I really don't think anyone is going to save much money unless they like the coach fare; if you already have taken air credit there is absolutely no savings over your existing invoice.
  19. None at all; just added to your shipboard account which you pay at end of cruise. $400 per segment and you can work it that both of you can get the $400 per segment.
  20. Really easy to book 18 excursions online in 15 minutes. Only hiccup was tour in Busan showed conflict when none existed so I will call tomorrow. No tours for two days in Tokyo (online) but we are going to head out on our own anyway.
  21. You can get cash advance on your room bill; earn points or miles. No need to cash check.
  22. I will be online at 8pm EDT and "hope" to get all my preferred tours. That said, they have not posted any regent choice, small group, or any other specialty tours so, yes, the free ones might all be gone by tomorrow; especially on the Tokyo to Tokyo portion of the trip as that is waitlisted; of course, when the other tours become available many may switch which will open inventory.
