We did this once on another line. We didn’t want things to go wrong. They handled hanging items any draws/safe we just packed in are suit case—-wasn’t a problem.
If you’re going to say that—-what about the people that drink to much, talk on their cell phones, talk to loud and you could go on and on. I think it’s time to move on and enjoy your cruise. A jacket isn’t that bad—we don’t know the reason.
We’ve missed ports, not really a problem—-the only time they offered something was when they change the ending port from Los Angeles to Lima. We got an offer if we stayed or a refund if we cancelled.
Which is why we always go in 4 to 5 days early - we get rested and enjoy a few days before the cruise. Never missed a cruise yet doing it this way. We also stay an extra day off the ship—if you don’t need to hurry—may as well be stress free when you can.
Cruise lines have lot’s of things to do on sea days—but what about a day or two doing nothing, just relax and take it easy. Maybe a spa appointment after a late breakfast on your balcony.—-watch a movie.
