  1. The OP is on the Freedom. The cabins all have the bed by the balcony
  2. If you booking was booked in Canadian $ then all of your cruise planner items will be in Canadian $. The OBC will also converted to Canadian $ for use in the cruise planner and if not used will convert back to USD for use on board the ship. The conversion rates for the OBC and for the cruise planner items should be the same
  3. Royals generic e mail stated an average of $13pp. In actuality it ranged from lowered taxes to sometimes more than $30pp
  4. A tip to see if the bar code trick will work...if your muster =station is listed then a room is assigned, if you don't see a muster station then your room is not assigned.
  5. In my experience they will not extend the FCC. FCC applied to a booking that is cancelled will be reinstated with the original expiry date. It truly is a use it or lose it
  6. I've never seen that enforced for North American bookings before final payment
  7. making the deposit meant nothing. You had the courtesy hold and that gave you the time to transfer it to the TA. After final payment there is no such thing as a deposit
  8. It depends on how long the courtesy hold is good for as the transfers take a couple of days or more to process. Why not just call the TA and have them book it direct.
  9. It could happen at any time from now until boarding. Just keep watching for your room assignment and then go in and reprint the luggage tags
  10. Absolutely nothing. I've done this many times
  11. Which they nearly always do even if you already did them on the app.
  12. I sold at just over $140. Now waiting to buy back in.
  13. Just wait till you see your credit card statement.😁
  14. The only things you can't use a TA for are to make payments or make a name change / modification or change dining times. Everything else including cruise planner purchases, booking airfare and check in you can still do.
  15. Surprisingly enough, I have found the filet in Giovanni's better than chops and both better than the MDR
  16. Nothing gets deducted form your daily gratuity because you choose to dine in a specialty dining venue. That gratuity also covers servers for lunch and breakfast
  17. I don't ever factor in possibilities of the ship being late. It is such a rare occurrence that to plan for it would be difficult. Where do you draw the line, do you plan on it being 2 hours late, 4 hours or even more. All are possibilities as are weather, plane breakdowns or any other reason for a flight getting cancelled. Too often it's an early flight or much more expensive one mid day or a late night flight that means finding something to do for 8 or more hours so there really aren't a lot of viable options.
