when you are in the photo area, can you find out if there is a scrapbook kit for sale, and do they stick the pics in folders like on other ships ?

Was just watching the webcam on Royal's site of the Oasis....someone just went on the zip line. There are some areas there never seems to be any ppl on when I look at their webcame.

The Oasis does an amazing job of spreading the people throughout the ship. One great thing about this ship.

Did you find out how the embarkation is for someone on a scooter, do you have to do the zigzag gangway or is there an elevator.

The helipad here is closed off to the public so the treat today for Diamond and Diamond plus members was an invite to a champagne sailaway with the supervisors of the departments on the ship. At 1:30 is was beautiful and sunny and exciting....at 1:55 there was a downpour and we all had to come in before sailaway! So dissapointing not to stay. But we had great talks when we were out there with our new friend who heads the HR dept here and will move for a bit to the Allure, who calls us by name whenever she sees us, and talso to he head of housekeeping. He was a wonderful man! It was an amazing view while we had it!!

 

We then went for our 4th snack of the day to the promenade, and then the casino. Decided to come up and post before we head to the Boardwalk (hubby needs another snack!!!!)

 

We have dinner at Giovannis at 6pm, and we go to the Aqua theatre at 9.

 

No time left.....we are off..again!!!

The champagne sailaway sounds wonderful. Hope they do this when we sail Oasis or Allure.

Could you clarify something for me? In an earlier post someone asked about the soda package. I thought the soda package was fountain soda, but I think you said it was cans.

Evening all! Not sure how much time I have so my post first......

 

This afternoon we did so much exploring of this amazing ship (who can find the time).

We went to the Boardwalk and strolled past the candy shop and ice cream shop and Seafood Shack (looks sooooo cute!) and Johny Rockets and watched people climb the rockwall and zipline above us! Someone asked about popcorn on an earlier post. They have a popcorn machine there but have never had popcorn. We got a delicious sundae, and picked up some candy for the room. We needed to get closer to the action above so we went up to deck 15..which was the first time (I know, I know, but.....WHO HAS HAD TIME!! lol)

 

INCREDIBLE up there! How can we be on a ship with people surfing and playing miniature golf and ping pong and playing basketball!! AMAZING!! About 4:30 we stood in front of the web cam on the end of the zip line....no clue if we got on!!

 

We watched people surf in the flowrider...wow! And watched dozens of people do the zipline....double wow!! We watched a man in the flowrider won a boogy board and he lost his pants...twice!!!!

 

There was a soccer game going on in the basketball court, and the ping pong tables were packed!!

 

We peeked into Wipeout and saw they too have a yogurt machine.

Heard from a RC member that someone threw their deck chair off their balcony on a Boardwalk balcony. It hit the DINER sign in front of Johnny Rockets and damaged it. Can you believe someone would be such an idiot? And they could tell which cabin the chair came from, only one didn't have a chair.

 

Is the sign still damaged?

 

And poor Balloon Boy wasn't back for our cruise. I believe he still isn't back, correct?

I am using my laptop in the room. Someone asked package price....hubby did it and he is in the casino so I have no clue. I have lost connection twice, and it is slow at certain times, but it's ok. I do miss my computer at home though!! The internet "room"
