Harmony Keel Blocks are in the House... well they're outside actually!

I don't see the storage space over the bed like Quantum class.

I would imagine when completed, a little more color will be added to the cabin.

Perhaps the over the bed storage will be installed later. We find those types of cabinets to be great on the Celebrity Solstice class ships. We were on the Quantum in a Grand Suite- and found the storage great- only thing we really liked about the ship was the cabin. We really enjoy the Allure and Oasis . I am sure the Harmony will be similar. The little closets next to the bed do not appear adequate for hanging garments for a tall person.

I can't imagine there would be any difference. Pretty sure the only changes are going to be with the cabinetry

Allowing for bigger cabins than the earlier Oasis class ships was a key factor in the line's decision to give Harmony a larger footprint. Executives say it's more than three meters wider than Oasis and Allure.

I wonder if any of that extra space went into the common areas over cabins?

In reading the USA today article there were several things that I found that I had not seen mentioned. (I could very well have missed them in earlier posts so forgive me if they are not new.)

- Full size Starbucks store on the boardwalk to replace kiosk on Promenade.

- Rising tide bar is now Champagne bar

- as discussed earlier there are several references to a 3m wider ship and larger cabins

- 3 floors of MDR all uniquely themed

- larger VIP Casino area

- 2 glass walled fitness pods on lifeboat deck for yoga and Pilates courses

Nice to see them mention the ultimate abyss and see the opening even though the slide has not been installed. I have seen a few posts questioning whether it was really going to happen.

USA today has been "onboard". Unfortunately the photo gallery doesn´t work for me. Not sure whether it´s my computer or a bug on the website.

There´s another media event on Wednesday in St. Nazaire. So we will see more pictures after that.

I was having a hard time viewing the photos on my computer earlier this morning, but it worked on my phone. It's working on my computer now though.

Nice pictures. Not too crazy about the "trundle bed" style sofa in the stateroom that they pictured. Is this the same style as they have on Oasis or Allure, or is this a Quantum class thing?

Definitely not the same as on Oasis/Allure.

I really like the look of the cabins. They are modern and minimalistic without being too dark. I just hope the storage space isn't too minimal.

Haven´t seen much storage: the two closets next to the sofa (one picture shows one of them open - same as on the Quantum Class - shelves and about 12 in of long hanging space; hope the other one doesn´t have a fixed lower bar!) and the four drawers next to the minibar plus one drawer above the minibar. That´s it. The storage above the bed or sofa is missing.

Ken,

Starbucks was not mentioned by RCI yet but seen on the deck plans for the Boardwalk.

Which deck plans do you see Starbucks listed on the Boardwalk...maybe a PDF version? The one from the website is not showing it for me. I wonder if there are other changes as well.

There was a time when the deck plans did show a Starbucks on the boardwalk. One of the updates removed it, so no one was sure what exactly was happening.

Steamboats, that NY Times link you posted shows a pic of Starbucks under construction. It says it's going to be a full size Starbucks on the Boardwalk.

Yes, Luke, you´re right, it was removed later from the deck plans. But on the Royal Promenade the area in front of Boleros was and is still Shore Excursions. So we knew it was definitely gone from the Royal Promenade.

BTW the deck plans still show Giovanni´s Table in the Central Park instead of Jamie´s Italian (which was first seen in the UK online brochure on the deck plan - as far as I remember).
