I noticed this today. Not pleased. It is also showing up in "favourites". When did this start?

I've noticed it today. Ads seem to be showing almost on every page and pop up every few topics in the topics list.... [emoji849][emoji34]

It has come up on my lists as well. Not very happy about it. If they do not remove it I will not come back to it after my upcoming cruise. You have to be so careful that you do not click on the ads.

I was going to start a thread on this once I noticed this happening. It's very annoying. I haven't noticed it on my Android tablet but it's started on my iPhone.

Started today- really irritated by it. It takes a moment to even realize you are reading an ad as it's set up to look like a post!

I am using CC app on my iPad. I find ads all over the thread ,between posts and at the end

We have never been charged a penny to use and enjoy all the features of Cruise Critic. I'm glad they have found a way to pay their bills and still offer this space to us for free.

Not getting them on my tablet...thank goodness...do not mind ads on the margins or at the bottom...but inserted into threads would be too distracting,,..and cause me to participate much less...

I was getting them yesterday on my Cruise Critic app (iPhone & iPad). Not there today.

Seems like someone actually did something positive about this. The ads (for me at least) seem to only be at the end of each thread I click on. Still not wonderful but slightly less annoying than they were a few days ago.

How dare they try to make money for all of their programming efforts. I have the paid version and don't see these ads but do have some other "free" products that use ads as their revenue model and just understand that is the cost of the convenience they are providing. Like my "free" television and radio broadcasts.
