antsp Posted November 20, 2017 #1 Share Posted November 20, 2017 reading the thread on the Regal and *****, it looks to me that 24 hr room service has gone, it’s now 20hr. Is that correct.
paul929207 Posted November 21, 2017 #2 Share Posted November 21, 2017 I must confess that I would never know if such a change was made
GUT2407 Posted November 21, 2017 #3 Share Posted November 21, 2017 Still says 24 on the web site. Not that that necessarily means much.
Lucky TGO Posted November 21, 2017 #4 Share Posted November 21, 2017 Oh no say it isn’t so  What will I do know? When I want my oatmeal cookie and there no room service at 3 a.m. :D. Tony

Working 2 Cruise Posted November 21, 2017 #6 Share Posted November 21, 2017 From what I understand, this is just on the Regal for now, along with the expanded room service.
mysaddlebred000 Posted November 21, 2017 #7 Share Posted November 21, 2017 I try not to eat much after 10pm so it doesn't matter to me. I wonder how many people order food between 2- 5am? They must have been keeping track. If it helps prevent a price increase, that is a good thing. Was on the Regal two months ago and did not hear anything about the change. lstone19 Posted November 21, 2017 #8 Share Posted November 21, 2017 But what four hours is it not available? The menu picture just says “20 hours” with no indication of what 20 hours. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

antsp Posted November 21, 2017 Author #10 Share Posted November 21, 2017 I agree it’s not that important, but I always feel it’s chip chip chip away, let’s reduce the product.
floridalover5623 Posted November 21, 2017 #11 Share Posted November 21, 2017 Not sure about that but the ice cream cones have gotten smaller. :( Not you have to have 2 of them to get the same amount. :D

framer Posted November 21, 2017 #14 Share Posted November 21, 2017 Midnight to 4AM would be better IMHO. Some folks get up real early and are in their cabin @ 9PM. I've walked around a ghost ship after 11PM on many cruises. It would be nice for the Regal to post the hours in the manual. framer
Ellipooh Posted November 21, 2017 #15 Share Posted November 21, 2017 Does anyone else think this is just a typo? And that it should read "24 hours" as always? The fact that the hours are not defined on the page lends some support...
voljeep Posted November 21, 2017 #16 Share Posted November 21, 2017 Hours will be posted each day in the Patter depending on sea day or port day - and if port day, the time arrived and departed:cool:
pwake Posted November 21, 2017 #17 Share Posted November 21, 2017 Fortunately, I only ever order room service 20 hours a day. I need to get 4 hours of sleep before I’m hungry again. Sent from my iPhone using Forums

Thrak Posted November 27, 2017 #20 Share Posted November 27, 2017 Just wondering...never did it all these years, but...can you order room service for lunch on embarkation day? I'm pretty sure the answer to that question is a resounding, "NO!". They are too busy that day.

TorontoTL Posted November 28, 2017 #22 Share Posted November 28, 2017 It really seems like a typo to me, but who knows. If they are limiting it to 20 hrs per day then they would usually specify the time interval that it would be available.

cardiffman Posted November 28, 2017 #24 Share Posted November 28, 2017 Limited room service hours are what you expect at a budget place like Hilton Garden Inn. A place where I suspect that the guy who delivers your room service works the room service requirements of three or more properties "to maximize utilization."
