Any pictures of 9002 or 9003?

Not the inside of the cabins, but if you look at this thread (starting at the linked post) you will see that someone found a photo of the front of the ship which shows that the balcony IS as large as many (including me) had hoped. The balcony door is on the side and there also is a large porthole facing the front of the ship.

Here's a link to the specific photo of the front of the ship (click on it to magnify).

does not bother me at all - it is what it is - just very grateful we have it snagged...

I feel the same way. When I first booked Seaside, it was in a Deluxe Suite which would have been fine for us. All Royal Suites were booked for when we could go. When the second wave of dates was released (kind of), I jumped on the Royal Suite. Even though the USA website didn't have the second wave of dates when using the search function, I was able to dig through the site and find the dates. I was lucky to get the Royal Suite.

The most recent wave of dates was released before they showed up on the USA site. All Royal Suites are booked as far as I can tell. It's now or never, I guess. That's why I was so nervous when the Grand Suite drama was going on. I was afraid that MSC would boot me from my suite (it still might happen :o) and give it to an angry Grand Suite guest who has more clout than I since I've never sailed MSC before.

Anyway.....keep the pictures coming. Any stateroom will be appreciated.

The first week of June. The first wave of dates only went to the end of May.

I didn't get the wifi or obc but that's ok.

I'm on the fence for a 2020 Celebrity Edge cruise but I'll wait. Never sailed Celebrity so I'm not sure if it will work for us.

Hard to believe that there are only 2 Royal Suites on the Seaside. Such a shame.

Nice! Hoping they put some deck furniture on the balcony! Thanks! Heading on it 1/13 in that cabin!

I strongly believe that there were originally supposed to be 4. On deck 18 right above the Royal Suite, there are 2 staterooms (18029 and 18025) which (when combined) are the exact same footprint as the Royal Suite below it. Plus, on the Royal Suite rendering video, it shows the Royal Suite on deck 18 with another Royal Suite (based on furniture on the balcony) directly below it.

The curved roof would only be seen from deck 18, not deck 16.

For those interested in the bed/sofa placement of their cabin, one way to find out is from the interactive screens onboard the ship. When you select to find a cabin, the deck detail shows the shape of the actual cabins. Now you just have to find someone onboard to do this for you! LOL Too bad the deck plans we have from home are not as detailed.

So the cabin steward has to make up that top bunk for every use? Putting sheets around the cushions since there is not an actual mattress. Seems just having the standard bunk bed that pulls out of the ceiling would be much more ideal, plus less time consuming for the cabin steward and an actual mattress for the top bunk occupants.

Have to agree that it looks a time consuming thing, although the same goes for the Double sofa beds as well.

At least with most of the sofa beds I’ve seen on ships, the mattress can already be made up with sheets so when you pull it out it’s ready to go.

I’m sure the cabin stewards hate having to make up that upper bunk with a set of sheets every time. I can’t imagine it’s that easy either.

Thanks for the link. It gives me a better idea of sofa differences. Unfortunately, this sofa differs from the one in the Aft Suite pics, which looks like a double bed. Hopefully, someone will give a first hand account when she reaches Miami. I assume most people aren't even opening those sofas on the current sailing.

TC ... There have been very few photos and videos being posted at the minute of the cabins, most seem to think the Atrium is what everyone wants to see or the Glass bridge.

If none appear before we board on the 23rd December, I will take one of the sofa out as a bed and try to get it posted on here.

Was speaking again last night to a guy in11001, I was asking about the cabins either side and if he had spoken to the people in them, he said that apart from the 1st night he has not seen them since! have to wonder if they moved elsewhere being 2 lots of couples ?

Sid - Thanks for continuing to try to get info on those corner GS suites. I do feel badly for the people who booked those two suites and didn't get what they thought they booked. If they did move I hope MSC did something nice for them. No one can blame them for being unhappy as there was so much mis-information about these suites from different offices of MSC. Even some TAs could get the right info for their clients.

Still I hope your friend in 11001 and the others are enjoying the cruise.
