Thank you Upgrade Fairy!!

The upgrade fairy does exist!! We booked a guarantee for balcony cabin in category BF for a cruise this fall on the Regal. When our room was originally assigned a month or so ago we were given a deluxe balcony, category DB. We were pleased with the original assignment. Well, I received an upgrade notice that we were upgraded to a mini-suite, category MB. Such a pleasant surprise. Thank you, thank you upgrade fairy!!! :hearteyes:

Mini-suites are such a nice step up from balconies. All that extra room to roam is welcome.

 

And if a couple's schedule isn't in synch, it's great to have the separate spaces for one to sleep while the other reads or watches TV in the sitting room. Or just gets up early to enjoy the sunrise.
