Rare mysty Posted October 12, 2022 #14683 Share Posted October 12, 2022 My joy for today....Myster made two dishes from the S.A.L.T. "From Greece With Love " cookbook we received from Silversea at Christmas last year. He made Kleftiko (braised lamb scented with herbs and cinnamon) and Greek Lemon Potatoes. It was amazing! We enjoyed it with Claymore Dark Side of the Moon Shiraz. 9

QueSeraSera Posted October 12, 2022 #14685 Share Posted October 12, 2022 (edited) Sad day in Virginia today, we took one of our 2 dogs to the vet, he just seemed tired and at times having trouble breathing. While being x-rayed, he went into labored breathing with blood pressure dropping, they rushed him back to the room where we were waiting and he died in our arms. The world is a bit poorer without Grover in it. Much larger impact on us to lose him. Edited October 12, 2022 by QueSeraSera just feeling sad

Rare mysty Posted October 13, 2022 #14695 Share Posted October 13, 2022 Myster and I now need to renew our passports. We had 10 year versions which expire in July 2023. Of course this involves a new passport photo and since we intend to get another 10 year option this photo will be with us until 2032. Therein lies the problem. Cameras have never been my friends. Yesterday we went to get the dreaded photos taken. Myster is very photogenic and his photos are always wonderful. Mine...not so much. I was not surprised when my photo looked like it was missing a police booking number at the bottom. 🤣 It is what it is! As long as it allows me entrance to places I want to visit, that's all I need. 😁 3

Rare Host Jazzbeau Posted October 13, 2022 #14698 Share Posted October 13, 2022 Medical Advice I don't understand why prescription medicine is allowed to advertise on TV or why anyone would think of trying one of the medicines after listening to the laundry list of possible side effects. Do you have feelings of inadequacy? Do you suffer from shyness? Do you wish you were a better conversationalist? Do you wish you were more assertive? Do you sometimes feel stressed? If you answered yes to any of these questions, ask your doctor or pharmacist about Sauvignon Blanc. It is the safe, natural way to feel better and more confident. It can help ease you out of your shyness and let you tell the world that you're ready and willing to do just about anything. You will notice the benefits of Sauvignon Blanc almost immediately and, with a regimen of regular doses, you'll overcome obstacles that prevent you from living the life you want! Shyness and awkwardness will be a thing of the past, and you will discover talents you never knew you had. Sauvignon Blanc may not be right for everyone. Women who are pregnant or nursing should not use it, but women who wouldn't mind nursing or becoming pregnant are encouraged to try it. Side Effects May Include: Dizziness, nausea, vomiting, incarceration, loss of motor control, loss of clothing, loss of money, delusions of grandeur, table dancing, headache, dehydration, dry mouth, and a desire to sing Karaoke and play all-night Strip Poker, Truth Or Dare, and Naked Twister. Warnings: The consumption of Sauvignon Blanc may make you think you are whispering when you are not. It may cause you to tell your friends over and over again that you love them. The consumption of Sauvignon Blanc may cause you to think you can sing, and may create the illusion that you are smarter and better looking than your friends. Note: Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, or Pinot Grigio may be substituted for Sauvignon Blanc, with similar results. Please feel free to share this important information.
