can you guess what sit-com group this is?

not including the person in the middle with the red sweater.

So who is the person in the middle wearing the red sweater?  Inquiring minds are inquiring.  😀

Nice spot in that pic, Chas. Right between Roz and Daphne. I'd be smiling too!

Chris and I loved that show. Wonder how it would hold up if we watched it today. John Mahoney was just great. And the Brothers Crane played off each other so well.

Was that pic taken at the Shakespeare Theater Company?

It was taken at the old pension building which is now the building museum.

It was for a filming of a Christmas in Washington show.

I am surprised so many remembered that show.

That show goes into the classic comedy sitcoms category!.......(in my opinion anyway). I know the actors were great but it is the writers who really make these shows so outstanding.

Suppose an occasionally ineffective gift giver husband thinks he should buy a "travel purse" for his beloved's birthday.  Specific suggestions would be most appreciated.  The Miele was a pretty big hit but going for something a bit more personal this year.  Will also accept suggestions au contraire to the basic idea, and am aware I might be "going to the well too often" with this post.

We ( in Victoria) are in lockdown again!  Hopefully for 7 days but it will depend on community spread.  Friends are back on cleaning sprees again but like Mystys last joke, I’ll look at the mess with disgust from the couch!!

If we can’t travel this is what I’m going to do instead while in lockdown.

Under the au contraire category, how about a local museum membership that includes the NARM (North American Reciprocal Museum).  If you spring for a family membership 😉, both of you could get free entry into many museums and gardens, etc.,  at home and when you travel. (This idea comes from our distaff side.)

To cruise, or not to cruise?
That is the question -
Whether ’tis nobler to dine in Atlantide-
Or suffer the contamination of buffet serving utensils in La Terazza;
To wash hands and arms against a host of infective troubles at sea,
And by such hosing - end them?
Therein lies the rub.
So, as I fumble with my hand sanitizer -
I say “Out damn spout!"
What fools we mortals be!
