No Silver we did not visit the Maritime Museum today.  The full size bronze statue of “The Lady in White”  unveiled in March 1995

on T jetty next to the Portnet offices was relocated to the Maritime Museum on the 27th September 2016.

That’s a shame, I did not realise that it had been moved. Thanks.

Misty - great photos.  Got some great photos of elephants and hippos that Inwill post tomorrow.  How are things going on Lady Whisper?

Thanks DCC!  Things are sailing along on the Lady Whisper!  Looks like your adventure is amazing!  Safe travels back to join us!

Thanks for asking care of the Whisper.  We get back tomorrow evening.   Some pics of yesterday afternoon/evening drive, dinner, and, this morning’s game drive which included breakfast in the bush.  The baby rhino is only one month old and was about 5 feet from our vehicle.  The leopard is  male who is 10 years old.

That looks marvelous! The baby rhino is adorable. And the sunrise...

We did a safari in Sabi Sands back in 2011, and stayed at Lion Sands. It was superb. Looks like your wildlife sightings have been great as well. Safe travels back to the ship and keep on enjoying.

Our 9:30 am Cape Town and Table Mountain tour looked to be a wash out as the mountain was wrapped by cloud cover.  It was cold and grey.  Then......the sun made a valiant effort to break through the clouds and we got a few glimpses of Cape Town.

We went to the V & A for essentials (haircuts,  African dinner dress,  letter posting) and to the near new MOCAA, the Museum of Contemporary African Art. It's in a converted silo. The collection is a work in progress. The café at the top was good for lunch too.

We had a fabulous day at Paarl in the winelands on the Silversea special event. The food and entertainment, as well as the short talk and the train trip were top notch.  I'll leave others to post some pictures but I'll just post two of the departure and the very welcome sight as we returned.

Oh, and the list of dress codes for the Cape Town to Lisbon segment has only 2 formal nights and 13 casual. The rest are informal.
