Rare mysty Posted May 7, 2019 Author #1060 Share Posted May 7, 2019 Today we were in Casablanca, Morocco. We did the "Casablanca and Grand Mosque" tour and enjoyed it. Highlight was the awe-inspiring Hassan II Mosque. The Mosque is the second-largest mosque in the Islamic world. This magnificent building is both overwhelming in its grandeur and exquisite in its detail. Some photos..... We also visited the Mahkama du Pacha in the Quartier des Habous. It formerly housed the reception halls for the Pasha of Casablanca as well as the Muslim courthouse. It's currently used for district government administration. Some gorgeous detail from the building.....
Unibok Posted May 7, 2019 #1061 Share Posted May 7, 2019 Wow, such beautiful architectural detail, mysty. Breathtaking. If remember right, this World Cruise was billed as the Tale of Tales, with each segment highlighting different writers. I think you mentioned Pico Iyer and the Lion guy early on, but was there one for each segment? If so, how were the others?
