Locking the ability to update doesn't really indicate good or bad news these days.  Some have had them locked only to receive the 'you didn't win' email.  Others have won.

I wouldn't give up hope, though.  Some have been notified as close as the 2nd day out from sailing.  Hope you get it!  🙂

I have bids in on that sailing too and both my JS bid and my GS bid still say "pending".  I think we got overlooked all the way around.  😞

I hope not!  Maybe they are still shifting people around....and waiting for last minute cancellations.

So - still not update on my 23OCT2021 Odessey bid for Royal Up.  A week now since my GS bid expired and my JS bid remained at PENDING but became locked as far as the ability to Modify or Cancel.  On one of the FB groups for the sail date - appears GS's wins got assigned yesterday and one person commented they got their JS accepted - I just continue to wait patiently (not really) wondering if the inability to modify at this point is a positive indicator...

Still waiting for the 10/25 Freedom sailing.  My JS bid has been locked for days, no way to modify.  All my others are expired.  Fingers crossed for both of us that locked=woohoo!

Just went to do a mock booking on my cruise, and it shows JS as Sold Out, although my bid still says pending.  Sold Out to me looks like the cabins have been assigned, but the lack of email or cc charge makes me think it's over  ☹️.   Maybe things will change in the next few days, but it'snot looking good...

$200.00 per person. The maximum on the invite was $220.00 per person.

Got one of the JS4 cabins on the hump with the walk-in shower which is what I wanted.

Excellent. Thank you and Congrats!

I received my RUp offer for my Christmas cruise! Exactly 60 days until we cruise. I've been checking RUp almost every day. I almost screamed when I saw the email. We were looking for a cheap getaway for Christmas so we purchased an inside guarantee. I submitted a bid for a balcony.  Here's hoping we get it. Let the waiting begin.

36 connecting ocean view balconies

74 spacious Oceanview balconies

110 total balconies remaining

Does everyone get offered Royal up? When does the email typically come?

No rhyme or reason if and or when you get an offer. Royal algorithms. They always keep us guessing. 🤔🤯🤪

Has anyone received a Royal Up email for the 6-day Anthem on November 8, 2021 out of Cape Liberty? And if you did what was the minimum bid from a JS to a GS and the minimum from a GS to an OS?

You may also want to ask this in the Roll Cal thread for that sailing.

Received free casino cruise card in snail mail on Oct 5th for one of 4 or 5 different cruises. We chose to book the Serenade 4 night departing Tampa on November 4th, inside cabin and requested invoice for taxes on 6th, and invoice paid on 7th. Royal Up offer in my email on the 8th for 4 options, Oceanview, Spacious Oceanview, Ultra Oceanview and Oceanview Balcony. No suites on the RU offer.
Put in bid for all but regular Oceanview as we are currently inside on a upper deck and do not want  risk moving to a much lower one just for a window, lol. All offers are still pending but number of  cabins available on these upgrades are dwindling fast on the website so not holding out too much hope. Will keep you posted if I hear back, but does anyone know when the offers expire, or if they sit there as pending so there is still hope? This is my fist RU offer…

Most reports suggest bids stay in pending status till you get approved or denied. BTW, not being able to bid higher than a balcony when in an inside is normal - what's offered depends on what you currently have booked.

I put in a bid for my Cruise on the Odyssey for a junior suite - currently in balcony.  we are three passengers.  there are an obscene amount of double junior suites available but no triple junior suites.  It looks like the whole deck 9 is triple and quad JS cabins.  Anyone have any idea due to capacity if Royal is just holding these cabins in inventory?  I cannot wrap my head around that every single triple JS is sold but hardy any double JS?  I was able to bid on a GS but again, none showing for sale.

Received my email upgrading me and my husband to from obstructed view balcony to JS on Freedom sailing October 25, 2022!  I really thought we'd never win.  I bid $10 over minimum.

My documents haven't changed yet, though.  I guess Royal is just trying to keep us guessing...
